As you stroll though the 9000 sq ft mansion and explore the 20 acres of woods, trails, english gardens, two lakes,stables,{visit with the horses}you will rediscover the genteel 18th century, a time long lost... We are only 20 minutes from Cleveland and Akron,Hopkins and Akron airports,the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,35 mins. from Amish Country.We are adjacent to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park,with its trails for biking and hiking, Fine dinning, outlet shopping, winery tours, the list is endless!Or just sit on the porch and watch the horses graze and read a book,and enjoy the quiet solitude....If you are trail riding in the national park we also can stable your horse for the night in our modern stable, with 12x12 stalls, 2 pastures, trailer parking, trails, sand ring, fresh hay, grain, bedding.     My wife and I have been here several times. We love every bit about it. Whether we went into Cleveland or Akron or just stayed in, every moment was wonderful.

    We love to stay at B&B's and we were very pleased with Shady Oaks Farm! The location was restful and close to all of the Akron/Cleveland area. The inn was beautifully decorated with lovely antiques. Breakfast was a dining delight and Donna, our inn Keeper, made us feel at home and very comfortable. We will definitely stay again at the inn when we are next in the area. P & E Smyth

    We have been to many Inns, but Shady Oaks Farm, by far is the most elegant, beautiful B&B we have ever stayed at..the Inn is filled with fine antiques, fabulous woodwork, luxury linens, great food..the best was horses grazing right outside my window..a piece of heaven
