Locust Grove Ranch B&B

Peaceful country retreat that is also a horse breeding and training facility for Straight Egyptian Arabian Horses. Built in 2000 as a B&B, antiques complement the warmth of the golden oak open stairway and ash hardwood floors. Relax by the woodburning fireplace or on the windowseat in the library. Three levels of deck connect the house to the swimming pool, providing great views of the herb garden, orchard, and adjoining pastures where the Straight Egyptian Arabian Horses graze with their young. Woods and quiet country roads invite you to come exploring on foot or bike.

Snuggle under an Amish quilt in the queen size oak sleigh bed in the Country Room, and listen to the evening quiet. Antiques and baskets hanging from the shaker peg railing take you back to a simpler time. The large adjoining bathroom is decorated in the same dark blue, wine, and hunter green accenting the cream walls and golden oak wood. Sleep in... breakfast is served on your schedule and you're a century away from your world. With 75 acres to roam, quality time takes on a whole new meaning. After a full course country breakfast, pick out a bike and take a tour down a country road. Better yet, schedule a Horseback ride through the fields and let the sunshine and wind in your face work their magic.
The Brass and Cream queen size bed reflects the warm glow from leaded glass candles and the Oak Fireplace in the Victorian Room . Then, the morning sun dances lace patterns across your burgundy quilt to awaken you . From there and the adjoining bathroom, you can look out over the rose garden and orchard, to the horses grazing and the day's adventures.Select a book from our library and enjoy a cup of coffee in a rocker by the fireplace. The great room adjoins the dining area, so you can still visit with those enjoying the hearty homecooked breakfast, or treat them to some music on the grand piano that sits by the large open stairway leading up to the guest rooms.
