This was wonderful trip for me and my husband. We have three young children and have not been away since our honeymoon. Everything about this b&b was beyond our expectations. We will definitely visit soon.
5 out of 5Fantastic decision
May 06, 2013
A friend and I stayed here because it is the halfway point between her store and mine. What a fabulous decision! Rooms were beautiful and clean. This is the first place I've ever stayed that I felt comfortable not wearing slippers! The view is spectacular and we actually decided to work from this beautiful place instead of going in to work...great decision!! Thanks for a wonderful week!

We stay at Holmes with a View each year for one weekend, and have continued this tradition for the past 3 years. HWAV is something that we now gauge other B and B's from. The view, the clean and open, airy space, the amenities, the proximity to Wooster and its fabulous dining, or if you like "home cooking", there are alot of options around the area. Bring your bikes and see the country side during your stay. HWAV captures the very essence of the best of Ohio. There are a couple things folks need to know though 1) unless you plan on driving, bring your own food to cook 2) a continental breakfast is left in your suite: yogurt, cinnamon rolls, fresh bread and homemade jelly; juice and coffee 3) there is nothing open in Sundays in the area, so you really have to plan ahead. HWAV is simply marvelous. Give it a try!

My husband, daughter and I took my mother-in-law on a weekend away for Christmas. We have always stayed in cabins, so thought we would try something new. Holmes with a View were GREAT. My only suggestion is somehow work on the noise between each suites.

5 out of 5We never stay anywhere else!
January 24, 2013
We go to Amish country twice a year, spring and fall, and we always look forward to staying at "Holmes with a View" . Once we discovered "Holmes with a View" five years ago, we have never stayed anywhere else. We have stayed in 3 of the six units, finding each one exceeding the last. Miriam & Paul are great hosts, making sure our every need is met, from the extreme cleanliness of the house, the excellent accommodations and the well- stocked (not to mention fresh bread and cinnamon rolls) kitchen. Stay here...you won't be disappointed!
4.6 out of 5Beautiful setting with many extras
January 20, 2013
I spotted this while browsing BedandBreakfast.com and it looked interesting. My wife and I were amazed when we arrived. The setting and views were beautiful. The lodging is very private and quite unique. We loved the snacks that were provided. The views from inside the unit were great and the fireplace got the chill off of us when we returned from our travels. The bed and quiet provided a restful sleep and we were rewarded with a view of the beautiful sunrise through the many windows. A great place to get away from the noise and rush.
5 out of 5Suite #6, Breathtaking and the Perfect Getaway
January 02, 2013
We are a newlywed couple who were looking for a place to spend our first New Year's Eve being married. A friend told us about Holmes with a View and we thought it looked like the perfect place for us. We called and Suite #6 was the only thing available. It was like it was waiting on us. It was the perfect suite for us. The outdoor Jacuzzi, king size bed, wood burning stove and kitchenette with the two person whirlpool in the bathroom was the perfect touch. Not to mention the breathtaking view! We were so impressed! Everything was perfectly clean, and the management were so friendly! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It was like a dream. So relaxing and the perfect way to bring in the New Year of 2013! We were so relaxed. It was the perfect getaway. We loved it!!! Jon and Emily Booth
