What a great place to stay. The Inn Keepers make you feel like family. Our room had it's own entrance and we were free to come and go without intruding. The breakfasts were great and home cooked. Everything was perfect!

My wife and I originally planned to stay at the Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast for two nights. But we found that we were enjoying our time there at the Garden Gate Get-A-Way and surrounding area that we stayed an additional night. We would have stayed longer if we did not have other obligations at home. We enjoyed eating in some of the local Restaurants in the area, eating in an Amish home, taking a bus tour with Herb Steffey as our tour guide and bus driver, seeing areas of Holmes County that we would not otherwise have seen, if we had not taken the tour. Things that made our stay more enjoyable, was having TV and Internet Access in the room; the very nice Breakfast each morning and decorations within each room that we stayed in. We also enjoyed the campfires and conversation around the campfire in the evening.

We were first timers to a bed and breakfast and had a wonderful stay. The food was great with plenty of it. The nightly campfires were the perfect way to unwind for the night. The hospitality was awesome.

This is our fave b&b, we stay there every time we go up to the Amish area. The suite was lovely and spacious, breakfast is a small buffet but we don't want a lot to eat so this is great, Carol makes great coffee cake, and there is also an egg dish and fresh fruit and Amish granola and Amish bread etc. so you won't go hungry.

I really enjoyed my time at Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast. I felt like the B&B was a nice country setting. It was nice having the Amish farms neighboring the property. The B&B is far enough away from the tourist trap of the area. But close enough that if we wanted to be part of it we could be. Herb & Carol was very knowledgeable of the Amish and the area. They were very nice host. I do hope to return again someday

We spent a relaxing weekend with close friends. Took Amish two hour culture tour on Friday afternoon, and dined in Millersburg at Bags Pub before enjoying the evening campfire. Began Saturday with a delicious hot breakfast and headed out on all day tour of local vineyards. Highly recommend this inn. Herb and Carole make everyone feel at home:)
