Arbor Lights Bed and Breakfast

We were surprised at how wonderful our room was. It was gorgeous. Gerry was the perfect hostess & made my husband, my grandson & myself feel so welcome. The stuffed French toast was so yummy. We will be back.

My husband and I had a fabulous 2-day getaway at this little bed-and-breakfast. Right across the street from lake erie and about 40 mins. from Cedar Point. Breakfast was AMAZING! Much better than anything you'd get at a restaurant. I would highly recommend Arbor Lights B&B. We had no problems, and everything was very clean and neat!

Comfortable bed; clean, convenient, roomy and luxurious bathroom; plenty of clear surface space to put our things; excellent breakfast; beautiful grounds; quiet location; flexible and friendly hostess and host; congenial group of guests; cute dog. What more could anyone want?

Gerry is a gracious host and made delicious breakfasts. House is a real home, very comfortable and welcoming, an 1879 farmhouse in excellent condition. We hope to visit again. Only 25 minutes from oberun College

I travel a good amount for work; this trip I decided to stay at Arbor Lights for a refreshing change of pace. The innkeeper was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I had a wonderful and relaxing stay!

Arbor Lights is a romantic B&B. We stayed in Jordan's Garden, a beautiful room which was warm and romantically decorated. Gerry served a delicious breakfast which we enjoyed enjoyed with fellow travelers. The directions on the website are easy to follow and Gerry goes out of her way to may you feel welcome. We will definitely stay here again should we pass through Ohio.

We were looking for a place to get away at the last minute and read about Arbor Lights on this site. We arrived on Friday and Gerry greeted us and was very pleasent. After a nice discussion and a tour of the inn we left for dinner. Gerry had suggested and made reservations for dinner at Jackalopes on the Lake. The dinner was great! We enjoyed the Walleye and the Salmon. And I took some great photos of the sunset behind the Lorain lighthouse as we walked along the marina. Our room, the jacuzzi room, was spacious and exactly what we needed. Our breakfast on Saturday was delicious and the time with the other guests was a nice start to our day. Arbor Lights and innkeeper Gerry are a perfect match and we left there relaxed and headed for a drive along the Lake Erie ending up with a trip to Put-in-Bay. Thanks Gerry, Bill & Theresa

I would do it over and over. Very, very clean. Much better than a motel.

Everything was fantastic from beginning to end! The location is perfect. You could see the lake while sitting in the living room, and it is also a very sort walk to the lake where you could experience a sun set that is second to none. There is a nice grassy area to do this at. On the weekend there is wine and cheese provided from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, and wonderful conversation among the guest and inkeeper, Gerry! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the inkeepers who go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and will also answer any questions that you may have about the area. There are many parks and a really nice beach not far, and a marina with a really nice restaurant (The Jackalobe) which overlooks the lake. It is really nice to take a walk after dinner and look at the lake and light house. My wife really enjoyed the large bathroom and jacuzzi! The three course breakfast was to die for! It was so good and filling. There is much for everyone even if you are a diabetic like me. You will not be sorry if you stay at this B & B!

I went to surprise me husband for his birthday.It was a really nice place very relaxing. When u walk in it's like a peace u feel just like home.Sometimes life is so busy. You have to find time for each other.So I recommend this place.The owns of the place will do what ever you ask to make sure you are comfortable.I intend to go back and make sure we do this at lease once a year. We just got back from our trip to my hometown of Lorain, OH and stayed at the Timkos' Arbor Lights B&B. My family has grown quite a bit and there really isn't enough room for us to stay with them anymore, but going home shouldn't mean a cold hotel room. Arbor Lights was the perfect compromise! In fact, it was even better! We had the most comfortable room, cozy bed, scrumptious breakfasts, and met some of the most amazing people who were also staying at the inn (including people from Germany, France, and Chicago). Quiet, quaint, comfortable, warm, and relaxing, I will stay here from now on when I come to Lorain. It's my Thank you so much for being such wonderful hosts!

We stayed 1 night on our way to Cleveland. The inn was very charming and comfortable. The whirlpool tub was a plus after a long day and the breakfast in the morning amazing.

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was wonderful. The room was very nice and the whirlpool tub was great. The owners are sooo sweet and make your stay very comfortable. Highly recommended.

We came to Lorain for a wedding with not many options close by for staying over night. We had never stayed at a bed & breakfast before. What a nice suprise. Arbor Lights was wonderful. The rooms & beds were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. We don't have a bad thing to say about our stay. YOu can't go wrong staying at Arbor Lights.

My husband I took our first get a way in four years without our children and we couldn't have picked a better place to go. Gerry is a WONDERFUL cook and she made us feel so at home and comfortable. We will definitely be taking another trip next year.

We arranged for a last minute stay at the Arbor Lights B&B and we were so glad we did. We needed a break from overstimulation earlier in the week at amusement parks and a family wedding. We were able to relax and enjoy our time together in a very comfortable setting. The girls really enjoyed the large tub in the Augusta room and Grandma really liked the coziness of her room. Thanks for the wonderful breakfasts.

Gerry and Reed are wonderful hosts. Our room and bed were very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts as always were exquesite. Truly wonderful three days.

Gerry gave us a warm and inviting welcome and our entire stay was very relaxing - Just what we needed. We would definitely recommend her gracious hospitality to others.
