Peaceful getaway in beautiful natural surroundings

    April 25, 2013

This inn is a wonderful, peaceful place to get away from it all! My best friend and I, both widowed, had a delightful 2-day stay here earlier in the week, using the Mother/Daughter budget package. What a deal! We were very pleased and impressed with the charming Hummingbird Room, and although the surroundings are rustic, the rooms are very well-equipped with everything you could need (except TV and phones, and who needs those when you want to get away?). The spa treatments were so relaxing, the breakfasts and dinners were absolutely delicious, and all of the staff were so accomodating and welcoming. Outdoors there are comfortable chairs and benches in attractive settings to enable guests to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. And the Hocking Hills area is not to be missed! A chance for hiking in many different unique areas with caves, waterfalls, and more. I came back to this inn after staying there years ago, and it's even better now! We hated to leave and will definitely be back!

    Simply delightful

    February 02, 2013

My husband and I just returned from a two night stay at this wonderful inn. Located in beautiful Hocking Hills, this is the perfect spot to enjoy peace and solitude in nature. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was most accommodating. The food was excellent. We did not have WiFi in our room let alone a tv which was fine with us as we were looking for a quiet get away. This proved to be ideal.

    Gem in the Woods

    January 03, 2013

My husband and I recently stayed in one of the cabins for a 1-night stay. I believe it was called the Treehouse cabin. We had a lovely evening and plan to go back at th end of February for my husband's birthday weekend. This time we'll be staing in a larger larger cabin for 2 nights. Our cabin was very clean, private and comfortable. Only thing missing was a TV, so we took our portable DVD player and that watched movies in bed...so fun! I was told all cabins will be having TVs installed very soon...so for those that miss them, this will be a plus. Dinner at their restaurant is ALWAYS delicious and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was terrific as well. I HIGHLY recommend this place! We go to B&Bs all the time, so that is saying a lot!

    Innkeeper Response
Wow, thank you for your wonderful review and for planning to stay with us again. We look forward to having you back!

Let us start by saying that we could sum up this review by saying OUTSTANDING VISIT! However, we will expound a little bit. Whoever does the training of ALL the employees including Maintenance, housekeeping, servers, chefs, hostess, front desk associates should be commended. You know what customer service means. Next the cleanliness of the rooms, restaurant, grounds is unbelievable. We have told many and will tell many more of our Friends that if you want a total pampering experience The Inn at Cedar falls is the place to go. I would say Good Luck to them in the future but they already know that "luck is the residue of personal desire"! \. Mary Lou & Thomas Vermilion, Ohio
