Captain Montague's
This stately manor, built in the 1870's by the owner of the local lumberyard and master shipbuilder and later purchased by Great Lakes Captain Charles Montague, has welcomed people from all corners of the world. Guests are invited to rest, relax, and refresh in an atmosphere of an almost forgotten turn-of-the-century luxury as well as the warmth and coziness that pervade the property.
Nestled in the heart of Lake Erie's Coastal Ohio, the Captain's is a quiet sanctuary, yet its location is minutes to many attractions. Guests have just a short walk to the beach at Lakefront Park and Huron's famous fishing pier and lighthouse, as well as the Huron River with its 110-dock municipal Boat Basin and Amphitheater where there is FREE live entertainment every weekend during the summer months. - Cancellations:
A 14-day or more advance cancellation will be refunded, less a $25 cancellation fee. Deposit is non-refundable if cancellation is within 14 days of expected arrival, although this deposit can be credited to another stay within 6 months provided the original reservation/deposit can be rebooked - Accepted by the following agencies:
