I came with a little trepidation, not knowing what to expect. Upon arrival my wife questioned if we had made a good decision. Ed Parker is the owner / Innkeeper. Ed is an accomplished artist and retired professor of Art. Ed Parker is a charming and sincere gentleman. He was extremely accommodating far above our expectations. Mr. Parker is a charming and gracious host - offering us good suggestions about where to eat for lunch and dinner and cooking a substantial breakfast for us. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We found the Parker Guest House a perfect place for our visit to the Cleveland Museum of Art and a Cleveland Orchestra concert. The Healthline bus stops within a block of the property and close to University Circle.

The suite is designed with the owner’s late mother (Augustine Washington-Parker) in mind. Suite Augustine boasts a huge hand carved king size bed with a matching mirror dresser and wooden designer desk. A Jacuzzi designed for two, with an adjacent shower. Suite Augustine will sleep (2-4) people; Attention to detail has been given. Every effort has been considered for the pallet of the individual, strong, soft, and sensitive.It is our intention to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Don’t hesitate in asking us for anything that you might need. This room is designed for (2) occupants. There will be a $50.00 charge for each additional person. Suite Augustine is ideal for a bridal suite.

Hospitality is the key word here. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing art and sculpture in and around the house. Mr Parker is a real artist and great B&B host. Great American style breakfast, large, very comfortable bed and I even jumped into the excercise room in the morning down in the basement! If you stay, don't miss a short visit to his private art museum adjoining the building.

Parker's Guest House offers a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, at a modest price. Those interested in art will find their stay particularly interesting. The house is located within easy drive or bus ride to the major attractions of East Cleveland, including the University Circle museums. Lakeview Cemetary offereing lovely walks and history is very close by.
