I have stayed at Parker's Guest house on several occasions, as have many of my family members. Once again, the multi-faceted, multi-talented Edward Parker, proprietor and gatekeeper, artist and chef extraordinaire made my stay a weekend to remember! Everything you see, everywhere you turn is a delight to the senses, from the prints, sculptures and paintings that adorn the walls, tables, fireplace and mantels to the delightful aromas that awaken you to the sumptuous, and healthfully prepared Saturday and Sunday family-style brunches. I walked the beautifully landscaped grounds, enjoyed a quiet summer afternoon reading on the country style porch (finally succombing to a short nap), then enjoyed shopping on Coventry and tooling around University Circle. You will want to return again and again to Parker's Guest House!

Having arrived in a thunderstorm we had difficulty finding the house as there was no sign indicating it was a B & B Mr Parker gave us a tour of the rooms and the kitchen and to say we were dissapointed was an under statement, there was no lock on our door which made us feel quite nervous, the en suite was a bit of a makeshift but the towels were clean,in our room the were several damp patches on the ceiling, the air con unit was noisy and the furniture was old and falling to peices there was also un unpleasant odour both in our room and the rest of the house. We decided to stay just the one night and find somewhere more in keeping with the standards we are used to,we requested a refund of 50% as a good will gesture which was flatly refused.Needless to say we would never stay again and wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Cleveland.
