Abberley House Irish Bed and Breakfast
We invite you to visit us and share our home, where we have created a quiet sanctuary away from the stressors of everyday life. Enjoy a "wee bit O'Ireland"... we will try to make you feel as if you are really there when you come for a stay.
The bedrooms boast fine linens and furnishings and the home is filled with antiques, as well as a glimpse here and there of our beloved Irish heritage. Our home also has a covered front porch and a large back deck on which to while away the day and enjoy the peace and quiet. Abberley House also has many cozy areas in which to sit and snuggle up with a good book, play a game, converse with new-found friends or to take a much-needed rest.
We are just minutes away from Longaberger Homestead and downtown Dresden and its wonderful shops. We are also approximately 20 minutes from Coshocton and the Historical Roscoe Village and Monticello III canal boat, as well as Zanesville’s pottery and antique shops, The Wilds and the Lorena Sternwheeler riverboat.
We are only 30 minutes away from Newark/Licking County and the Works Museum, Coco Key Indoor Water Park, The Midland Theatre and Heisey Glass Museum and are approximately 45 minutes away from Ohio’s Amish Country.

We are located just 10 minutes north of the Village of Dresden on County Road 18, just off of State Route 60.
Take State Route 16 to State Route 60 North. Follow for approximately 5 miles. You will come to a town called Cooperdale.
Just past Cooperdale, to your left, will be County Road 18. Follow for 7/10 of a mile and Abberley House will be on your right, up on the hill. We are the 4th drive past the “Hidden Drive” sign. Just look for the Irish flags!
The BnB is accessed by driving just past the home and turning right, up the driveway. Please park in the spaces marked "PARKING". - Nearest major airport: Columbus, OH (CMH-Port Columbus Intl.)

Innkeeper Aaron makes THE BEST Irish soda bread and scones! He has fine-tuned the recipes and they are both simply delicious! One or the other will be served with the full Irish breakfast on the weekends. YUM!
Policies
- Minimum stay required (Two day minimum stay for special event weekends)
- Smoking is allowed in limited areas (Ohio law)
- We cannot accommodate guest pets
- Limitations on children staying
- No childcare is provided
- Consumption of alcohol is not permitted (We are a member of the Christian Hospitality Network)
- Deposit amount required (50% deposit required with valid credit card at time of reservation, balance due upon arrival.)
- Check in time is 4:30-6:30PM and Check out time is 10:00AM
- Cancellations:
Refunds are given if notified 2 weeks in advance of reservation date. No-shows will be charged for the entire scheduled reservation. - Accepted by the following agencies:
