    Loved our stay here

    June 05, 2012

If I had to summarize our stay in this bed and breakfast with one word, it would be "comfortable". But since I have more words available, here are the details behind the word: The location is excellent--central to my husband's work, and our family and friends scattered around the area. We enjoyed being walking distance from work downtown and from the interesting shops and delicious restaurants in the Short North area, and also easy driving distance from everywhere else we needed to be. The room was wonderful, spacious, homey and oh so comfortable, especially the bed with feather blankets. We both slept soundly and comfortably every night during our stay. Not all of the rooms are as large as the one we were in, but for a stay of several nights, the extra space in that room made it easy to spread out and feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and very filling--three out of the four days of our stay we ate breakfast in-house and thoroughly enjoyed each meal. Trelene is a wonderful cook, and the food was a delightful mix of fresh and home-cooked. We were so full every day, we were never quite ready to eat again by the time lunch rolled around. The variety of fresh fruit, yogurt and granola was a perfect complement to the satisfying and tasty entree each day. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great location, Delicious Breakfast, Comfy Beds!!!

    August 23, 2011

My husband and I stayed here in September 2010. It was our first bed and breakfast experience (we're in our late 20's and early 30's respectively) and we loved it so much that we have talked extensively since this stay about one day opening our own B&B!!! The bed was extremely comfortable, everything was well kept and clean and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We stayed three nights and honestly were a bit sad to leave. There are a ton of cute shops, great restaurants and a lively nightlife in very close proximity to the house. We will definitely stay here again if in the area and in need of a place to stay!!! Thank you so very much!!!

    Fabulous location

    August 23, 2011

Less than a block away from the Short North District, within walking distance of downtown. Wonderful restaurants and Jeni's ice cream shop nearby. Treline prepares a great breakfast, and can provide tips on where to go, what to do (such as Franklin Park Conservatory). We'll definitely be back next time we're in Columbus.

    Wonderful!

    June 16, 2011

My family and I rented for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Ohio State graduation as our youngest daughter was graduating. We rented all 7 rooms. We had a wonderful experience. The rooms were comfortable. We had a reception in the dining area which has four large tables and is very spacious. At times when there were no activities different groups split off and did a myriad of things. Being right in the Short North was great! Trelene was a superb hostess and facilitated our goings on in any way she could. I would definitely recommend 50 Lincoln Short North and look forward to an excuse to stay there again.

    Can't wait to go back

    April 04, 2011

Stayed with a team of teachers for a confence in Jan, ice storm and all it was great. It was quiet, clean, great host in Trelene and the breakfast was fantastic. My team and I came back each day from the conference could really relax and enjoy ourselves. The team liked it so much that we stayed a second time when we had a two day workshop, it was worth the extra drive even though there was hotels closer. I'm looking for a chance to make a getaway for my wife, she will love it. It does not matter if you are a couple or coming for buisness this is the place to stay, and there is so much within walking distance.

My husband and I had a Kidless Weekend and greatly enjoyed our stay. The location was fantastic, a quick jaunt to Goodale Park and some great shops. Trelene was a delight and very knowledgable about the area. We will be back!

Amazing place. Short North B&B ROCKS!

    March 21, 2010

My friend and I stayed here for four days for the Arnold "Expo" bodybuilding trade show, in March 2010. This was a great experience. Short, comfortable walk to the Convention Center, but secreted away in the artsy, Bohemian, colorful Short North district. Breakfast was great!! This felt like home, and I plan to return often!
