Donnas is amazing! We booked the spring celebration package and were completely blown away. They were the friendliest people and the chalet we stayed in was beyond perfect. It was so romantic, peaceful and comfortable. We loved the gas fire place, king size bed, jacuzzi and also the delicious breakfast in a basket delivered to our door in the morning. All of this for such a great price! This was the perfect romantic getaway!

I loved it here at Donnas of Berlin. very clean and comforting! my first visit was for my honeymoon July 2010 and I have been returning every year since! I love it here!

my wife and I were married in one of the cabins and spent our honey moon there as well. it was very relaxing I did not use the dining serves but can only imagine they would have been very good as well

I must say I saw pictures online of the rooms and fell in love. My husband and I booked a Villa for a 2 night stay in the end of January. We arrived to check in and were greeted by the most friendly people! We walked into our room and I couldn't believe how much the pictures online Did Not do it justice! The room was gorgeous! And super clean. The small extras in the room made our stay even better! The couch by the fireplace was our favorite. If you want a quiet romantic getaway this is definately the place to go! We will be back.

We were at Donna's November 2011. We celebrated our First year wedding anniversary at Donna's Premier Lodging. We arrived to find a warm and inviting cabin. The breakfasts were excellent and great tasting. It was wonderful to have them delivered to our door. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay an excellent experience. Donna's was the very relaxing vacation that we needed. It was a paradise set in a very picturesque setting. We had a great time and will for sure be making a booking in the future. Thanks Donna !!

This is an absolute favorite for my wife and I. Donna's has created a uniquely relaxing and peaceful space amid the busyness and bustle of downtown Berlin. So whether we feel like engaging in the local tourism or spending our time together quietly, we have just what we need. This is a great getaway value for these two young parents.

My Husband and I went on a belated honeymoon and chose Donna's Premier Lodging from a beautiful brochure. We arrived to find our cabin was just perfect. The fruit, cookies and sparkling cider were great touches. Every detail was thought of for our comfort and convenience. The delivered breakfast was very tasty and brought hot to the door when we wanted it. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I have been to Donna's a few times. We tried the cabins, the chalet and are going to try the cottage in April. I cant wait! It is always clean and comfortable. We always get breakfast delivered and have also always been pleased. I have recommended others to stay there as well and they have been satisfied as well.

My husband and I have stayed in the Chalets twice. Both times were very enjoyable. We loved the Amish breakfasts. Delivered right to your door and oh so good. The fluffy towels in the bathroom were like drying off on a cloud! Delightful! The convenience of the shops, all in walking distance of the Chalets, were so much fun to explore. And last but not least, the staff was professional, yet so friendly and helpful. I almost forgot...the peanut-butter cookies...simply put...DELICIOUS! Bought some to take home to share with my office....and hate to say it, but they never made it there. :) I would recommend this wonderful get-away to anyone who wants to enjoy a special time in a place where you can kick back and relax.

My husband and I stayed here in June to celebrate our anniversary and had an amazing time. The suite was gorgeous! The rooms were meticulously clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. Our welcome basket of fruit, cookies, and sparkling juice was such a nice surprise. It felt very romantic and private yet we were only a minutes walk away from shops and restaurants. It was so peaceful, just what we needed before the birth of our third child! I can hardly imagine ever paying for a hotel again after staying here for a comparable cost! I can't wait to stay there again this year!!!

We stayed here for our anniversary & it was absolutely the perfect getaway. From checking in to walking into romancing the stone was a dream. We also had breakfast delivered in the morning & it was amazing. My favorite part of our trip was enjoying the heart shape hot tub while. Across the room was a water fall. I have recommended this resort to many many people. Definitely will be back. Thank you.

This is how it is meant to be.....jacuzzi, pool table, breakfast delivered to my door hot...and surrounded by the woods in a log cabin...there is not anything else to say.

We enjoyed one of the Villas - did some horseback riding and visited a local winery while we were there as well. Loved being there, definately will return!

I have visited Donna's Lodge four times and have reservations for a fifth. It is the perfect environment for a "soul" vacation. Your mind is filled with your surroundings..... aromas, fresh air, trees. It satisfies all your senses and clears your heart and soul. A great place to take a break from reality and feel perfectly pampered in every respect.

I am amazed at the personal touch that Donna's puts into their cabins. We were greeted with a platter of fruit, cookies and some chocolate along with a bottle of sparkling cider. Our cabin was very clean and also had handmade soaps in the bathroom, bubble bath for the jacuzzi and soft, plush towels. It was an amazing stay and they were very friendly. We had breakfast in the morning delivered to our cabin and it was also amazing and still hot. We had to wait for it to cool down before we could eat. I have recommended Donna's to everyone I know.

I loved the peace and serenity, you could hear yourself think!... The room was over the moon wonderful, clean beyond words, staff was ready to do whatever we requested and more, price was very reasonable compared to a hotel, and the home cooked food was out of this world wonderful! Recommend to anyone!

We came to one of the villas after the death of my father-in-law. We had been their (moms as well) main cargivers for over 2 years and we were so burned out. I surprised my husband with this get away, knowing we needed to de-stress and it was heaven to us. It was peaceful, beautiful and just what we needed to relax. Everything was A+ and it gave us the energy we needed to come back and continue to take care of mom and face taking care of the estate. Thank you Donna for a magical stay!!

When we wanted to find a romantic place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, we knew we needed someplace relatively close to home and affordable. We did an internet search and were excited to discover Donna's Premier Lodging. It was only a little over 3 hours from our home; far enough to feel like we were "away", but not far enough to cost too much money for gasoline to take too much of our allowable time to get there. When we started looking through the choices of accomodations, we had a difficult time deciding what we wanted. There were so many beautiful places from which to choose! We decided upon the Bridal Suite #1. As good as it looked, you never expect the room to be as nice as it is portrayed in the advertisement, but the suite was even more lavish than we could have hoped for. The furnishings are so lush and lovely and Donna has gone out of her way to make sure every detail is just perfect. The heart shaped jacuzzi was large enough for "two", the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast we had delivered was absolutely delicious. Donna's staff is very friendly and accomodating to serve whatever need we had. We can't wait to have the opportunity to return. We hope to try one of the villas on our next visit!

We have stayed at Donna's several times, each time has been wonderful! Our last anniversary was the best, stayed in the Romancing the Stone Cabin. It is a little more expensive, but worth every penny.

We have not only had the pleasure of staying at Donna's twice, we have also purchased stays for my in laws and my parents. The accommodations are amazing, they are warm and inviting, as well as romantic. Every detail has been attended to and you definitley feel right at home as soon as you step in the door. In addition the service is outstanding, everyone we have spoken to has been extremely nice, polite, and helpful. They have great ideas to help you personalize your stay and are always eager to help. There are several other properties around Donna's that we have either stayed at or toured and Donna's far exceeds them in quality and value. If you are looking for a quite, romantic getaway, especially time to reconnect- look no further than Donnas!

We loved our stay at Donna's! My wife and I work 10-12 hours a day, five days a week. Unless we use vacation time, we NEVER get a day off together as her "weekend" is Wednesday and Thursday while I get Saturday and Sunday off. Feeling the pressure, we decided to take our first vacation since our honeymoon in 2008 and stumbled upon Donna's when looking for a nice, cozy place to stay in central Ohio. Needless to say, everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. The service was top notch, the staff was so friendly, and the cedar cabin that we stayed in was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. You could truly spend two or three days there without ever having to leave, but you are within minutes of all of the wonderful shops and attractions in Berlin, so if you want to go take it all in it's very easy to do so. I found the accomodations to be absolutely wonderful. From the moment we pulled up to our cabin, we were all smiles. We stayed in cabin 6 which has a pool table, and we spent a lot of time relaxing and playing horrible games of pool in which I don't think there was ever a true winner, but the bottom line is that we were spending time together in a beautiful, romantic setting. I cannot wait to return, we are thinking about spending a couple of nights in a cabin during the winter months so we can see the breathtaking views of the countryside that can be provided with the snow. If you're looking for a truly romantic getaway at an affordable price (seriously, they could charge another $100 a night and it would still be affordable for the quality of the service and accomodations) I recommend Donna's.

We loved our stay at Donna's and need to make the time to get back. The suite was lovely, and a beautiful view. Breakfast was just delicious!!! Highly recommend Donna's and have sent many friends there.

My husband is a civilian contractor currently working in Kuwait but was home from June 13th through July 7th. We decided to go to Donna's on June 16th and 17th for our 11th Wedding Anniversary which is June 17th. We had a WONDERFUL time and are planning on a return trip hopefully for our next anniversary. We stayed in Cedar Cabin #6 which was SPOTLESS and VERY CLEAN. Plus their packages and baskets are VERY NICE!!! We also had their hot country breakfast delivered both mornings it was WONDERFUL!!!!!

It started started with our greeting at the desk - we felt like we were being welcomed home - so warm. Our wants, needs, nothing was overlooked. And secrets were not shared...... Friends had called ahead and made arrangements to surprise us. We were greeted with a beautiful card wishing us a happy anniversary and a note to look in the fridge - a delicious gourmet cake! Nothing was over looked. Not only was our cabin clean, it was inviting, beautifully decorated, welcoming. Words don't do it justice! Breakfast was delivered on time, hot and delicious - exactly as ordered. Towels are so soft you just want to stay wrapped in them. The beds are so comfortable you feel as if you are home and not in a strange place in a strange bed. Matter of fact - all of it feels just like you are home! This was our 2nd visit and we will be back again and again!

Although we have not yet stayed at Donna's Premier Lodging, we are extremely excited to announce that we will be guest in October ! Finding a place close to home, with all the bells and whistles we need for a romantic getaway, was one of the many things we liked about Donna's. Her website had us sold on FINALLY taking a honeymoon after 14 wonderful years of marriage !

Our stay was outstanding. The staff is the most friendliest I've seen anywhere and very helpful. The rooms were the cleanest we've ever stayed. We have been back several times and our planning another stay now.

My husband and I stayed in one of the cottages for our 10th anniversary. The cottage was delightful and the service was excellent. Our delicious breakfast arrived when we had scheduled it and provided us with way more food than we could eat for breakfast. The jacuzzi tub was very relaxing and had plenty of room for two. We loved our stay here and will definately be going back!

We stayed one night in cottage number 2 and purchased the romantic wedding package for our vow renewal. Everything was very nice and we can't wait to go back!

We stayed at a Cedar Cabin may 8th-10th, I wish we could have stayed longer. The whole place just breathes romance!! It was a perfect get-a-way for our 28th Anniversary. Peaceful and Quiet. They thought of everything to make sure we were comfortable. We will be back!!

Rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. Very relaxing evening. Loved the large spacious jacuzzi.

I stayed at Donna's a few years ago for a weekend getaway with my partner. The lodge was simply beautiful. I cannont wait to get back there. Rather you are there with someone or just need a beautiful relaxing place to take a breather you will really enjoy Donna's.

We came here on our wedding night and we come back every year for our anniversary. We love it here! It is so amazing that we couldn't imagine going anywhere else to spend our much needed time alone. The staff is so nice, the cabins are clean and relaxing, and the quietness of the woods is very refreshing. We look forward to spending our anniversary weekend here every year!

Recently had a beautiful stay in one of the Chalets. The accommodations were beautiful. It was romantic, private and very clean. The food we ordered was delicious and so fresh served perfectly. Employees were very helpful also in all our needs. We will definitely return!! Thanks again for a wonderful time.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary after hearing so many reviews, I decided Donna's would be perfect for our special day. My husband was experiencing a spell of depression requiring medical intervention, it was extremely hard on our marriage as it was tested and pushed to so many boundaries. I knew we had to do something to re-connect, re-kindle our fire for each other. This is when I called Donna's and explained the situation to them...I felt like a load a worries was lifted off my shoulders! My requests were handled with ease, there were no suprises to booking, and I felt truly like I was a special guest...not just "some other person booking a room". Our anniversary falls in January, so you can imagine my anxiety of the weather situation-I kept having fears that it would be a great snowstorm and our plans would be extinguished. When we drove into the town of Berlin, the skies opened up...it was completely lovely! This sounds made up, but I swear it to be the truth! The town was absoultely bustling with tourists and the shops smelled so good. We checked into our room, with absolutely no problems, again the feeling of "You are so welcome to be here" was ever so present! When walking into the sauna suite, I was impressed with the quaintness of it, it was neat and tidy, and fresh! It was truly delightful! We set out on our adventure of shopping and stocking the fridge with cheese and yummies from all over Berlin! We came home from that weekend more in love than the day we married! My husband declared that our anniversaries are to be celebrated thru-out the year now! He came out of his unhappy shell...and we have been celebrating still! Donna's is a marriage saver, a re-charging place for the mind, heart and soul...it is absolutely beautiful! The staff is fantastic and the lodging could not be any better! Thank you for re-kindling our fire!

Stayed at Donna's last October for the first time on the reccomendation of a friend..my experience was excellent! Can't say enough about the staff and the accomadations..excellent on every level!!..Have stayed at a couple othe B & B since...none have match the service,cleanliness or value for your money as Donna's has!!Even in the surrounding community there are lots of things to do. Top notch in my book..we will definitely be back!!

Donna's is our favorite place to stay! The cedar cabins are wonderful. Everything is top notch. The atmosphere is so relaxing. Fireplace, jacuzzi, tv's, stereo, cookie and fruit platter,kitchette. All wonderful!

Stayed in sauna suite 2 yrs ago. Great value, very clean. I imagine the other units not attached to the main office are just as nice. Recommend staying in one of those or you will not sleep in. Heard footsteps on the hard wood floor above both mornings. This suite is the only one attached so safe to say you will enjoy your stay here. Great staff!

we have stayed at Donna's 3 times. In the villa's, cabins,and bridal suites. All so CLEAN!!! and beautiful. Breakfast in the morning so worth it!!!!We will go back again!!!!!!

Donna's B&B is everything a couple could ask for- lovely rooms, great service, privacy, romantic setting, and best of all, it doesn't break the bank!! I can't stop bragging about the cleanliness either- as soon as you walk in to your room, it just sparkles and the comfort level is out of this world! Donna especially is very helpful in making sure your stay is to your satisfaction!! Her and her staff always gives us ideas on activities to do in the town and always available if we have a question or request. The amish breakfasts are to die for and so much to do around Berlin! I especially love the Christian atmosphere around the town. This is my husband's and I were there for our first honeymoon and are going back for our 2nd yr. We always recommond DPL when our married friends ask us where they should go for a small and close by getaway.. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS!!

My wife waited for 48 year to get married, then we were broguth together in friendship after knowing each other for over 30 years. When we fell in love we decided we wanted to do something simple. I wanted to surprise her since she loves the very simple things in life. AS it happened the honeymoon sweet was available the weekend we were married! It has been a memory of quiet, comfort, and romance that we will never forget. Thw service, food and privacy was outstanding and the staff was wonderful. start the day with breakfast delivered at your door. walk to the shops, return to your jacuzzi, towel off with the softest towels ever and then relax in your comfy king size bed. Loved it!!!

My wife, marge and I, recently celebrated our 18th anniversary together and spent it up in Ohio Amish county at a lovely romantic B&B called Donna's. From the start the setting was romance. We entered our suite and was greetd by the aroma of clean, not the harsh scent of chemicals but the fragrant blessing of roses, we soon discovered the reason for the heavenly scent. Placed in a bud vase in the fully stocked kitchen was a single stem red rose along with some heart shaped chocolates. We continues to explore the spacious suite and discovered an inviting jacuzzi hot tub surrounded by rose petals and tea light candles upstairs in the loft bedroom. Speaking of the bedroom the 4 poster bed was lovingly decorated with 2 hearts made from rose petals entwined with each other. Upon waking the next morning we more than pleased with the friendly greeting we received from the staff person who delivered our "Breakfast in a Basket" which was delectable beyond belief. All in all my wife and I could not have found a better way or place to celebrate and reconnect after 18 years together as husband and wife.

My husband and I stayed in Cottage #2. We were able to relax and concentrate on re-connecting with each other. In the morning we ordered a hearty country breakfast that was excellent and delivered right to our door when we requested it. We will be back for another relaxing get away very soon.

Beautiful and Relaxing.....pickup some wonderful wine and cheese at any of the local markets/wineries a steak to cook on the provided grill, and hunker down for the night in wonderfully aromatic surroundings! I recommend the omelets in the morning, hand delivered to your door!

My husband and I stayed one night in Chalet #2. Everything was set up so perfect. The bed and floor were decorated with snowflakes and rose petals. There were also two fireplaces and a pool table. Shooting pool is a favorite hobby of ours. Our first date was at a pool hall, so having it in our chalet was a plus. My husband and I had a really nice time. I can't wait to return.

This cabin was full of outstanding details. We didn't want to leave. I hope to go back yearly.

We have stayed at Donna's several times. Whether it is for a winter blues pick me up or just some alone time as husband and wife, Donna's is our first choice and our go to place. We have celebrated Birthdays, Anniversaries and empty nest all at Donna's. You wont be disappointed, a great escape!

We stayed at Donna's last March and had a great and relaxing time! It was one of the best getaways we have ever had and look forward to getting back there soon. The ladies in the office were very friendly and always helpful if we needed anything. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and comfortable, truly a home away from home.

It was very clean. The staff was clean, healpful, and very pleasant. They made you feel like part of their family. It was a nice quiet getaway in a very beautiful area. The room was clean from head to toe, and the privacy was delightful. The food was delicious from room service, we also cooked there and the grill and other applicances were up to par. WE WILL BE BACK!! LOVED IT:)

Our last visit to donna's was to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff could not have been more accomodating and our breakfast as always was amazing, we stayed in a cottage and this is included in the rate. Check this out if you get a chance you won't be disappointed.. We are currently planning our next vist and cannot wait. You have to see this place to believe it and the service and ambiance will amaze you. We are very satisfied customers and highly reccomend this to anyone who wants a great experience

My wife and I have visited on three occassions and can't wait to go back for the fourth. The rooms are beautiful and everyone is very friendly. I don't remember ever being so relaxed. If you ever need to get away from it all and make a lot of "husband points" this is the place.

My husband and I were just married on January 15, 2011, and prior to that, he had planned our honeymoon at Donna's Premier Lodging. He found the site on the internet, and he fell in love with it. I had no idea where he was taking me, and it was the best surprise ever! The staff was incredibly friendly for our entire stay. The villa we were in was phenomenal! It was spotlessly clean, and designed to make you feel right at home. The fireplace was our favorite spot in the house, apart from the heart shaped whirlpool tub! The breakfasts were amazing and brought in beautiful baskets with all the trimmings. We also had a meat, cheese, and cracker platter and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us when we arrived. Donna's Premier Lodging provides the best service I have ever experienced! They provide for your every need, and they leave you alone until you need them. We were just there two weeks ago, but we are already planning our return trip this summer! If you are looking for a romantic getaway, I VERY highly recommend Donna's Premier Lodging! You will not be disappointed!!

Nov 18 2001 myself and my husband stayed in the honeymoon suite... it exceeded my expectations by far. Between the beautiful room & surroundings it was wonderful. We are planning to return this november for our 10th anniversary. I would recommended this to anyone who is wanting to get away to an affordable place that is more than worth the money!!!

My husband and I have been wonderfully papmered at Donna's for a few years now. We make it a routine to visit every year after Christmas to enjoy a quiet,romatic,relaxing,fun getaway in a clean Christian atmosphere. The staff go beyond just being hospitable. They want you to come back and it shows. One of my reccomendations would be to upgrade breakfast. It is worth the money to upgrade. We have never had a complaint on any of our trips.Thank you Donna's for creating the perfect atmosphere for us to enjoy ourselves.

It's always the best place to stay. Every one of their rooms is great. If you need to relax this is the place to stay. We have been there 6 times, and can't wait to go back.

I took my wife here for Sweetest Day (Belated of Course). From arranging everything a few days before (last minute) all the way to the time we left the staff was great. It was a little hard to find since it was tucked away in an alley but so well worth getting a little lost over. When we arrived to our fresh smelling, clean room it wa...s so much more than what we expected and so much more than the website & pics described. I ordered extra's such as Chocolates, Rose Petals and a Hot Country Breakfast...All so well worth it as well. The chocolates were top of the line, the rose petals decorated neatly across the bed and jacuzzi and the hot country breakfast delivered at a time we specified but not only that...the plates were steaming hot when it was delivered to our door and the Orange Juice cold from the fridge. Everything you could ask for what automatically thought of by Donna and her very wonderful staff. I couldn't have asked for a better evening and I am so glad we chose Donna's PREMIER Lodging of Berlin. We stayed in Cedar Cabin #2 which was beautiful. I hope to return very soon

My wife and I have stayed at quite a few B&B's andI have to say that Donnas was by far the best, the location, the clerks when checking in, I cannot say enough about this place. We checked in on Saturday afternoon and left Sunday morning it was in early fall, the fresh autumn smell and the wild turkeys running around the outside of the cabin AWESOME

We got a Donna's gift certificate for christmas and decided to spend a quiet anniversary togeether. We stayed in the original cabin. Even though it rained we were able to sit on the porch and enjoy nature. The cabin is secluded even though there are other cabins around. The cabin was cozy and clean and everything we needed was provided. Could not have asked for a better place to spend our anniversary. My husband is very particular and he had no complaints. Will be back for more anniversaries.

We spent two nights at Donna's in the Romancing the stone cabin recently and were extremely impressed and happy with the cabin, the staff, the food and the surrounding things to do in Amish country. It was an amazing experience that we will definitely repeat. The attention to detail was incredible and we could not have asked for a bettter getaway

I found Donnas' on line and we have been going ever since. We love, love, love, the Cedar Cabins. We also like the Villas. Everyone is very helpful and friendly, from the time you make your reservations, until you check out. It is always super clean (I even look for dirt and can't find it) And it is so quiet and peaceful with everything you ever wanted in a "cabin in the woods". I have gotten gift certificates for my family so they to can enjoy it. My brother went for his honeymoon and my daughter goes for her anniversary. The breakfast is fantastic. I really enjoy the fireplace and jazzacci since I have neither at home. I tell everyone about Donnas'. It's my life line. Sitting on the swing on the porch is as close to God as I'm going to get right now. So thank you all at Donnas' for making my life much more enjoyable.

Wasn't sure what to expect the first time there. From the outside to inside it was more than I could imagine. The rustic feel and serenity, peace and relaxation of the trickling water within the woods as you sit on the porch was just what was needed. Thank you for such a treat, can't wait to come back!

My husband and I have stayed at Donna's twice. Once was our first weekend getaway while we were dating and the second was for our honeymoon. It is, by far, the cleanest, nicest, well kept place I have ever stayed in. The staff is incredibly friendly and the breakfast they delivered in the morning was amazing. Donna's is always our first choice for a getaway.

My wife and I have stayed in one of the Villas; but our favorite place to stay is the cedar cabins. We have gone back again and again and again. We both love the people and the atmosphere at Donna's Bed and Breakfast and will keep coming back.

It is the most romantic place to be, I love the jaccuzzi, the fireplace, sitting on the swing on the porch, romantic music. My husband & I need to get away sometime & think of just the two of us, fantastic place to re-connect & be with the love of your life... We have been to Donna's 3 times and have not been disappointed yet, nor do I think we ever will be. We will be back!! I tell everyone about Donna's and the staff treat you like royalty, I just can't say enouugh about it and talking doesn't do it justice you need to spend a night there & see for yourself!!!

What a great retreat !!! The accomadations are sparkling and cozy at the same time. Only minutes from town, it still gives you the opportunity to feel like you are out in the picturesque outdoors for some great alone time with your honey. Upon your arrival you meet the friendliest and most attentive staff. My husband and I have stayed at several of their accomodations and they were fabulous. From the details the staff provided for a romantic anniversary to the Most comfortable mattress's you could fall asleep on (which may I add after the 1st visit, I called back to Donna's and asked where they're mattress's came from and then purchased 3 for our home) to the Best Delivered Hot Breakfast you could ask for. If your looking for romance or just a quite night alone, Donna's Premier Lodging should be your #1 Choice!!

We spent our wedding night at Donna's 10 years ago. We have gone back many times since then. We have stayed in all the different locations except the Romancing the Stone Cabin. We have never been disappointed. Every location has something wonderful. We love being so close to all the shopping. It makes for a fun experience! We have recommended many other couples stay there. We have stayed at Donna's for the last 5 or 6 years, normally twice a year. Donna and her staff provide exceptional service to the customer. The cleanliness and quality of the cottages, cabins and villas far exceed any other place we have stayed. We have stayed at Donna's multiple times, although the drive is a little far, it is so worth it...The silence is amazing and much needed, the breakfast delivered to your room is incredible, and the rooms/facilities are always spotless! If you choose to venture out of your peaceful room, there are incredible shops to spend your time browsing in. We have stayed at alot of places, we go away together twice a year, and this is somewhere VERY special.

My wonderful new wife and I spent 3 nights at Donnas Premier Lodging in September, Got married the second day, everything from the minister to the flowers and cake were great!! We can't wait to go back someday to relive our special day!

I cannot say enough good things about Donna's. I am 23 years old and got married a year ago. We stayed in Bridal Suite #1 on our honeymoon. It was more than i could have ever imagined. Amish Country is beautiful but Donna's just makes visiting there that much more enjoyable. 6 months after we were married i just HAD to visit again..this time we stayed in Romancing the Stone and WOW....its absolutely gorgeous. perfect in every way. So here we are coming up on 1 year and of course we have made our reservations to visit, this time trying a Villa. I highly recommend the flower petals and candles placed around the jacuzzi and on the bed. I also recommend the breakfast that they can make special for you! You cant go wrong staying at Donna's, we look forward to many stays in the future.

This place has the highest quality service, cleanliness, and friendliness. The cabin we stayed in was perfect and there is not one thing I could complain about. We didn't want to leave when our stay was over and will be coming back many more times.

We spent 5 days here for our 15th Wedding anniversary 7 years ago. We enjoyed the Honeymoon Suite because of it's 1 level accomodations. My husband can't do steps real well due to his disability so this was perfect. The food provided was excellent, the people fantastic and the area is a beautiful getaway for any couple in love. Unfortunately haven't been able to go back but recommend this place to every couple we know. A real jewel in Amish Country. Hoping to return soon.

My husband and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary here. We really enjoyed ourselves! Everything was outstanding!!! The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed all the extra special touches ( cookies, with sparkling cider, breakfast basket etc.) We will definately be returning again in the near future. We were there during Christmas of 2009 and had a ball. The atmosphere was so peaceful and serene. We were able to grill out on the patio sit my the fireplace, listen to music and just enjoy the mood. I absolutely love and adore the Villas and will be back very soon.

We have stayed at Donna's twice for our anniversary. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast and cookies were delicious. The rooms were extremely clean and hot tubs were wonderful. We have been very happy with Donna's and recommend it to all of our friends. We can't wait to go back next year. We did try another b&b in Amish Country and it couldn't hold a candle to Donna's. My husband and I have agreed, we will never stay anywhere else when visiting Amish Country!

The accommodations provided such a romantic getaway for my husband and me. We enjoyed the cottage and felt like we were a million miles away. We especially enjoyed the tub! The cottage was decorated just right and the breakfast was outstanding. We will certaninly come back again.

My husband and I stayed in the Sauna suite June 11 2010. The staff was very friendly, and very helpful. The room was wonderful! The Jacuzzi was amazing, I could have stayed in it all night. The bed was so soft and comfortable. The attention to detail in the room was very unexpected. We have already recommended for family and friends to stay here. I can't wait to come back, this may be our annual Annniversary Gift to each other. There isn't one negative thing I can say about Donna's. It was perfect.

My husband and I needed a chance to get way from the daily grind, just the two of us. On a friend's recommendation, I reserved Chalet #1 at Donna's Premier Lodging in Berlin. What a wonderful and relaxing stay we had! The chalet was clean and beautiful and definitely exceeded my expectations. It came with a pool table, outdoor grill, kitchenette, and hot tub. Waking up to the calm chirping of the birds outdoors was so refreshing. We had breakfast delivered one morning and that was delicious as well--Amish baked oatmeal for me and pancakes for him! Thank you, Donna's, for a very relaxing treat. We will definitely be back!

Donna's was absolutely wonderful. We got an upgrade from our Sauna Suite to a Chalet in the woods! I did not want to leave! The staff were so helpful and nice, it was excellent and the best get a way that we have had so far!! Thank you!!

My husband and I have already stayed at Donna's twice and are getting ready to book a third time. We have stayed in The Romancing The Stone which is just beautiful. It's waterfall by the hot tub is beautiful. The place is breathtaking. They welcomed us with a packed lunch, fruit plate, and cookie plate. We also stayed at Villa #1 which is also amazing. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay everything you hoped it to be. There is shopping within walking distance.

My hubby and I stayed in one of the villas for our honeymoon/getaway week... it was so amazing!!! We had perfect weather during our stay, so we were able to walk around and visit all of the nearby stores during the day and then at night we would just lay around and enjoy movies and/or the whirlpool tub. It was such a cozy atmosphere, I didn't want to leave... we definitely plan on going back!!!

We were there to celebrate 3rd anniversary and he was going to pop question.The room was clean and as the word COZY is used is misrepresented as tiny, narrow and off street parking.Cabins as an upgrade was offered was Original cabin(Reservations are VERBALLY NON refundable) Room was CLEAN, Whirlpool for people OVER 5'4 & we will Not return stayed because of POLICY OUT 111.00 on special.Guess You pay for what you GET.Disappointment and NO sleep due traffic on main high way.Begged for 3 yrs to go here! Such a depressing Non memorable experience except the clean room & Bubble bath was definitely Bubbly.Everything is closed as of 5 pm weeknights.I wanted to go home from the time we drove up.Country setting outskirts of town for larger MORE expensive maybe. We stayed May05,2010.Left when the shops were leaf blowing at 8am,No cellphone signal for ATT.No gas stations local after 8 pm OPEN.

We deeply apologize that your stay was not what you anticipated especially after waiting 3 years. We care about each person and their needs and we were very happy to make things right with you. It is true that the Sauna Suite is one of our smaller suites with approximately 600 sq ft. The Sauna Suite is just steps away from the local shops and restaurants. It is located in the main building with the convenience of parking close to the entrance of your suite. Choosing a cabin or chalet in the woods would be a wonderful option when you are looking for something more private away from town. Check out time is 11:00 a.m. but, we are always glad to extend the check out time when scheduling permits. Being we are located in the heart of Amish Country, it’s a long time tradition that the stores close around 5:00-6:00 p.m. Monday – Saturday. One of the pleasures of coming to Amish Country is enjoying the slower pace of life . . . going “back in time” where families spend time together in the evenings. We have several gas stations in our area that close around 10:00 p.m. with a local grocery store that has gas pumps open 24/7. The best service for cell phones is offered by Verizon or Alltel. Land line phones are offered in the room for the convenience of our guests. Again we apologize that you endured a number of inconveniences while staying with us, Even though we have no control on some of the things mentioned, we do take to heart those things we can change and improve on.

I rented this cabin for my boyfriend and I to escape the stress of everyday life-it surely delivers! Beautiful, relaxing, and romantic-we never left the cabin in 3 days. A place we WILL return to every year-we have made a pact to do so. Immaculate, the softest towels I have ever had the pleasure of using, and very private. LOVE IT!

Went to Berlin to get married and have a weekend away. Stayed at Donna's Premier Lodging and it was the best money I have spent in a long time! Worth every dollar! The cabins, scenery, and hospitality went above and beyond all expectations!

Just the place to go to get away from it all! Room was clean and inviting. The towels were the fluffiest towels I had ever used! The breakfast (brought to our room in a basket) was delicious! Whenever we come here, we leave feeling completely relaxed and ready to face the world again. I like that it is so close to the shops. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops and leave our car at the chalet. Love it, love it, love it! Will be back as much as possible!

Me and my husband were married there on the 8th of April in Cottage 2. It was so hard leaving there. Everything was so wonderful and relaxing.The cottage is comfortable and the breakfast was awesome. Everyone is super friendly. I will definitely recommend Donna's to my friends and family and i am looking forward to returning next year for our anniversary.

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay in Bridal Suite number 2 for 1 night. It was very nice and VERY clean!! We wanted a quick getaway and thought about a cabin but since we were only staying 1 night we settled with the Bridal Suite. This suite exceed my expectations!! It was a great suite, with plenty of room!! The fireplace and the jacuzzi were wonderful!! The bed was nice and coomfy too!! We will definately be returning to Donnas!!!

We had a beautiful evening at a villa located at Donna's Premier Lodging. Relaxing in the jacuzzi, playing Boggle by the fireside and walking through downtown Berlin was a welcome retreat.

My husband is a police officer and was injured in the line of duty in Febuary of 2009. We have three small children at that time our youngest was only 1 month old and our oldest 3 years old. He was completely Bed ridden for a couple months and then spent 6 weeks in physical therapy before returning to work. I wanted to do something special for him for remaining so positive throughout the whole experience. I was talking to my sister one day when she told me about Donna's. I looked it up online, and by that night I was booking a Cedar Cabin. My husband has always wanted to live in a log cabin so I thought it was perfect even if we were only there for a night. I kept it a secret as to where we were going, all he knew was me and him were going away for the night with no children. When we arrived at our cabin it totally took our breath away. It was one of the most beautiful getaways we have ever been on. The cabin was immaculent. Looked as though we were the only people who have ever walked foot in it. The staff was also very welcoming and friendly. We have recommended it to many of our friends and we definately plan on coming back over and over again.

We only got to enjoy 1 night there, but it was so great. I can not wait to go back. My husband & I did not make it in time to enjoy some of the local shops, so I am hoping to go back soon to enjoy a little more! Also we went in October & it couldn't have been a more perfect time with the leaves turning! thank you Donna's!

Donna's totally exceeded my expectations. The chalet was fantastic; clean and full of extras. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Their dining tips were appreciated, and we are planning on returning this fall!

I stayed at Donna's about 4yrs ago. I won a night stay from a wedding show. Our stay was very romantic and quiet. The staff there was excellent and friendly. I wish we could have stayed more days, but we had to get back to our regular lives. We wish we could get out there again for a romantic night but with a 6yr old at home it makes it kind of hard. I would recommend Donna's for any couple wishing for a romantic getaway.

We have stayed two different times in one of your chalets. We were both very surprised at the very romantic atmosphere of everything there, inside and out! We rarely get away from our home and you arent too far away from us. Even so, it seems like such a real getaway going to Donnas Lodge. We feel like we have traveled far and been to a very luxurious place after being there. We always go away feeling a renewed closeness to each other and feel very relaxed and peaceful! My husband and I stayed at Donna's cabins last year for our honeymoon and I am so glad that we did... Their attention to every detal was incredible! The fruit/cookie plate were a nice surprise when you first get to the cabin after a long days drive. The toiletries in the restroom were even remarkable. The cabin was so clean and cozy. It was so wonderful to be able to order our hot country breakfast and have it delivered to the room. I would highly recommend Donna's to anyone who wants to share a very memorable stay with their loved one.

We started going to Donna's for Thanksgiving - it's now an official Thanksgiving tradition for us. I cannot tell you how hard it is to leave every year, and how much we look forward to returning. The service is excellent, and the staff is always courteous. The accommodations are the best we have ever stayed in, in either hotels or other bed and breakfasts. The cabins provide a great feeling of seclusion - definitely a recommended get-away place when you need some time for just the two of you.

This was my first time renting cabins from Donna and it was wonderful, relaxing and very beautiful.

All the great comments regarding this lodging are very accurate. We have stayed in the Cedar Cabins twice and we would do so again. However, these cabins are not so "secluded" as one would desire. When we looked out our living room window, about 50 yards away from us, on a road that runs behind the cabins, was a very visible building about the size of a Walmart. That was our view. On top of that, early each morning, about 5:00am, we could hear the beep, beep, beep back-up warning alarms of semi-trucks as they dropped off and picked up their loads. Perhaps when the trees have their leaves they might obscure the view of this very large building, but not so for the balance of the year. Still, these cabins are very nice, if not a bit over priced, and they make for very a pleasant getaway.

I've stayed at Donna's Premier Lodging two times now. Both times were spectacular! The first time I stayed in the Original Log Cabin. Wow! It was so clean and the setting was spectacular. We ordered the Hot Country Breakfast delivered right to the door and couldn't have been more pleased. The omelets were delicious and the portions were huge! The attention to detail was evident in everything that I saw...we were welcomed with a fresh fruit & cookie platter & a bottle of sparkling cider...the towels were so plush....the bubble bath for the Jacuzzi was awesome....out on the porch they had rocking chairs to sit out and enjoy the outdoors! The second time I stayed was in the Sauna Suite. I stayed by myself and felt so recharged and relaxed afterwards! I enjoyed having the fireplace on in the bedroom as I drifted off to sleep and the bed was SO COMFORTABLE! I would recommend Donna's to anyone looking for a romantic get-a-way or to someone who's just looking to get-a-way from the hussle and bussle of day to day life!

It was a very nice place to stay, we absolutely loved the hot tub, and the king size bed was very comfy, the egg strada was delicious, it was a very nice romantic getaway for me and my husband and we will be coming back sometime, the only thing that i have to say bad is that i wish all the cabins had a pool table or that there was more romancing the stone cabins, we missed getting both those, cause someone else got them before us, cabin # 3 was very nice though!

We stayed in the sauna "suite". It is right below the main office and we were woken up by some worker walking above the bedroom at 6AM! The room was really poor quality. Nothing like what is advertised as far as premier, luxury lodging. The small bedroom had a loveseat right up against the foot of the bed with the corner fireplace nearby. The pillows were hard & the fridge made noise all night. She didn't care about our complaints - just said, "Sorry you weren't happy - you should have asked for softer pillows and a quieter fridge." ALSO, I asked for a recommendation to a local salon for my wife to get a manicure & pedicures for us both. She put the salon charge on our room bill, and I found out she overcharged us for the services. DO NOT buy the "romance package" of rose petals and candles. She uses reusable fake rose petals and little unscented tealights, and charges $30 for this! This woman is unbelievable!! TERRIBLE customer service!

Let me preface my response by saying that I regret that your experience was not acceptable. We strive to make each guest’s stay enjoyable and relaxing. Unfortunately neither I nor any of the staff were aware of your concerns until the day you departed. My staff remembers you coming into the office during your stay and making small talk with no mention of your dissatisfaction of the poor quality of the room or any other concerns. If we had known you were not happy, we would have been glad to find lodging that would be to your satisfaction. Even though you found the Sauna Suite not acceptable we have many guests that have stayed in this room and have requested this room for their 2nd and 3rd stays. Our goal is to provide bedding that is comfortable for our guests. We keep a supply of extra pillows from soft, medium and firm pillows which we can exchange for a pillow that will better suit our guests’ preference. The “romance package” is for guests to enjoy. It’s at their discretions if they want to toss the rose petals or take them home. Due to the fact that real rose petals have stained our sheets, towels and Jacuzzi’s we found it best to use the silk rose petals for this package. You mentioned being woke up at 6:00 a.m. We have addressed this with our kitchen staff along with the local bakery which delivers freshly made pastries each morning. We will strive to be more sensitive to our guests staying in the main building to avoid noise. We were happy to make the proper arrangements for both you and your wife to enjoy a day at the spa. It is true we charge a fee for this service which includes a fresh fruit plate, cheese platter with homemade dips and sauces to enjoy while you are relaxing at the salon. I regret that I did not have the opportunity to meet you as I believe you would have realized that I truly do care about my guests and their concerns.

My husband and I have stayed at Donna's over 30 times in the last 10 years, and the quality and service have always been exceptional. The rooms are beautiful, well appointed, and extraordinarily clean. Their employees have always been incredibly helpful. We've stayed in almost all of the different accommodations (the villas are the only one's we've never tried) and they're all outstanding! I can't recommend the place enough!

We stayed at Donna's for our 26th anniversary as a gift from our daughters. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! And we do recommend to everyone! The beds and pillows are the most comfortable we've ever had and the service was impeccable! You cannot go wrong by staying here!

The staff was amazing, every time we went down to the office to grab a movie or for breakfast they took the time to talk and answer our questions. The room was beautiful and had great views. It was our first trip to Berlin and Donna's made us want to make it a tradition. We are even considering a wedding there!!

This is NOT "premier" lodging. Stayed in the Sauna Suite & was woken at 6 AM by staff people walking in the office above us...for $179 a night!?! Ridiculous!!! Creaky screen door... concrete pillows... noisy fridge kept me up all night anyway. Hubby paid an extra $30 for candles & rose petals...cheap dollar store stuff...Fake rose petals too! 100% rip off. (She did send a $30 refund for this after the fact, since I complained) There is no separate living room with TV as shown on the website either - the mini couch is at the foot of the bed in the same small room. The pictures do not reflect reality. On top of the fireplace was a tiny TV, VCR/DVD combo and a small lamp - all their wires hanging out connected to a 3 plug adapter - very sloppy. No antenna/reception on the stereo either. Curtains are not correctly fitted to the window & don't fully close, so light comes through the sides - not exactly conducive to sleeping in, or darkening the room during the day. The tub was nice though. I read the other reviews... Where are these people from? The inner-city? We live in the city & its nicer/quieter than Donnas "Premier" Lodging - at least at the Sauna Suite. Also, the hot breakfast was an extra $10 a person - REALLY?!? For $179/night, I think a hot breakfast should be included. We heard the "Inn at the Amish Door" is a really nice place - for MUCH less $.

This is NOT "premier" lodging. Stayed in the Sauna Suite & was woken at 6 AM by staff people walking in the office above us...for $179 a night!?! Ridiculous!!! Creaky screen door... concrete pillows... noisy fridge kept me up all night anyway. Hubby paid an extra $30 for candles & rose petals...cheap dollar store stuff...Fake rose petals too! 100% rip off. (She did send a $30 refund for this after the fact, since I complained) There is no separate living room with TV as shown on the website either - the mini couch is at the foot of the bed in the same small room. The pictures do not reflect reality. On top of the fireplace was a tiny TV, VCR/DVD combo and a small lamp - all their wires hanging out connected to a 3 plug adapter - very sloppy. No antenna/reception on the stereo either. Curtains are not correctly fitted to the window & don't fully close, so light comes through the sides - not exactly conducive to sleeping in, or darkening the room during the day. The tub was nice though. I read the other reviews... Where are these people from? The inner-city? We live in the city & its nicer/quieter than Donnas "Premier" Lodging - at least at the Sauna Suite. Also, the hot breakfast was an extra $10 a person - REALLY?!? For $179/night, I think a hot breakfast should be included. We heard the "Inn at the Amish Door" is a really nice place - for MUCH less $.

I took my husband to donns's for our 9th wedding anniversary. This was the first time we had ever stayed any where alone. Very quite peaceful and lovely. I have recommened Donna's often. I can say we will return with every stress in the world on our shoulders and leave with no cares in the world

This was our first visit to Donna's. I took my wife there for her Birthday in September. From the moment we walked in the door to check in we was in awe. The staff was very friendly and helpful it was like going back in time. The atmosphere was incredible. We stayed in Villa #2 The very first thing that caught my eye was how clean the place was. Never have I stayed any place that totally met my expectations when it come to cleanliness until now. The food was fantastic home made and cooked to order, And don't even get me started on those sinful peanut butter cookies that are there waiting on you. Donna's is great,wonderful,fantastic see I can't find enough words to describe it. If you been there you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't all I have to say is. What are you waiting for. We will be back for sure. I almost forgot we went in and asked to tour the RTS cabin and with out hesitation they dropped what they was doing and took us out there on a tour. I know where I am stayng when we come back OMG it is beautiful. Thanks to Donna and her staff for a wonderful 2 day adventure back in time and a very relaxing trip. See you soon

My husband and I got married in the "Romancing the stone" cabin this past May. It was both of our second marriages and we wanted something wonderful but simple. It was exactly what I imagined for my wedding day.

Just had another wonderful visit at Donna's. It was so peaceful. Breakfast was delicious as usual. A special treat this time were the 7 deer that were playing in the leaves just outside our window in the middle of the night. Thanks Donna. Can't wait to come back Cathy Davis Circleville, Ohio
