The Cabin at Chimney Lake
The Cabin at Chimney Lake is a 3 bedroom log home bed and breakfast with rentals of individual rooms or the cabin as a whole. The cabin is located about 4 miles east of Athens, Ohio, nestled in the woods at the end of a private drive, and overlooks a 5 acre man-made pond teeming with fish. All guests are treated to a kitchen stocked with a wide variety of breakfast foods, both ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook. All guests have access to the full kitchen and outdoor grill. The cabin is rustic, with the comforts of home. There are three bedrooms, two upstairs which share a bath, and one down with its own bath. Each bedroom has a TV with satellite and a CD player/alarm clock. The porch looking out on the pond provides plenty of seating for relaxing or picnicing. The cabin's proximity to Ohio University makes it ideal for those attending events, but the quiet makes it seem miles from civilization. The cabin is totally non-smoking, and pets are not accommodated. Children over 12 are welcome, under 12 if renting the entire cabin.
