The Burr House

My Fiance and I wanted a close to home get-away and the Burr House was the perfect stay! Our room, the Bridal Suite, was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Cheryl and Cooper were great hosts and made our stay very memorable and relaxing from the candles and chocolates in our room to a yummy french toast breakfast complete with our own foot warmer-thank you Cooper! Overall, the Burr House was everything we could want and more! Thank you!

When visiting Wauseon, I will definitely plan another stay at The Burr House. Cheryl is an excellent cook, the accommodations were very clean and comfortable too. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a treat watching Cooper run to fetch the morning paper too. Thank you Cheryl! : )

This was my families first time to a bed & breakfast & it was more than any of us expected. Family friendly (loved the dog Cooper). Very clean and wonderfully delicious breakfast with more than enough to eat!

As a birthday surprise, I reserved the Bridal Suite for my boyfriend and I. It was a cold and wintry weekend in February but an absolutely warm and cozy stay at the Burr House. Everything from our room to our hostess, Cheryl, was welcoming and comfortable. We both enjoyed being pampered and left very relaxed and content. Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed here enroute to Kelleys Island and were extremely pleased. It's just a few minutes from the turnpike and situated in a residential area so it feels very homey. The Inn has been beautifully restored and updated with all the modern conveniences. The owners have thought of every detail from the gorgeous landscaping to soft, comfortable sheets and fluffy towels. They are very helpful with dinner suggestions and information about the area. It's a great value for the dollar and we would definitely stay again.

We spent two wonderful and relaxing days at the Burr House. We were welcomed by our hosts and felt as though we had known them for years. Cheryl is an incredible cook--we enjoyed the french toast with a hint of orange (yum), the scones w/dried cherries were unbelievably moist and tasty (yum, yum), and the cookies were indescribably good (yum/yum/yum)!! Cooper, the resident Springer Spaniel was just as sweet as he could be and the patio with hot tub was delightful. The time went by much too quickly, so we hope to visit again soon!! My wife and I stayed at the Burr House at the end of our honeymoon. It was by far the best value of the entire trip. It is obvious that Cheryl and Dave have a passion for serving others. The meals were delicious and the atmosphere was utterly peaceful and completely relaxing.
