A 10,000 sq. ft., 1887 Queen Anne-Victorian. Billed as the finest home in Northwest Ohio when completed. Heavily paneled in Red Oak & Hondouran Mahoganey. The large veranda is perfect for relaxing.
The front hall is heavily paneled in quarter-sawn red oak, intricate carved detailing, and oak floors & ceilings.
More intricately carved red oak accentuates the Main staircase. The heavily paneled walls & herringbone paneled ceiling are details influenced by the architecture of various English castles.
The original parquet floor, the Honduran Mahogany paneling, buffet, and patterned/crown-moulded ceiling, are highlights of the spacious dining room. The bamboo patterned Arts & Crafts windows were added as part of an early 20th century renovation.
The Secor Bridal Room is filled with Victorian charm. Spacious, comfortable... and attached is the en-suite bath with the first walk-in shower in Toledo. A large soaking tub is a favorite, as well.
