From East From Youngstown take Interstate 76 to Akron, then take Interstate 77 to Marietta. From Marietta take 7 South to 50 through Athens to state Route 32/50 directions from Athens below. When Route 50 splits off from 32, remain on 32 which is the Appalachian Highway. About a half mile after the split, turn left onto State Route 143 South. Drive five miles on 143, a winding two-lane road. When you come to the town of Carpenter, make a right turn immediately after crossing the railroad tracks, where you will see a white sign for our Inn. This is Carpenter Hill. At the top of the hill after the road evens out, bear to your right.
