The Bonny Peacock

We were looking for someplace close to relatives over Thanksgiving, and all regular hotels were 30+ minutes away. We could not have been more pleased with The Bonny Peacock! The Bonny Peacock was wonderful, restful, immaculate, very hospitable! We'll definitely stay there again on our next Ohio trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bonny Peacock. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the guest area was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was not a home cooked variety but consisted of yougurt, hard boiled eggs, cereals, muffins and fruit, plus coffee and tea. Satisfactory. We would stay again.

I appreciated that I was able to have my privacy, yet feel the owners were wry attentive to my needs. Pat and Mary do a great job. Only "issue" is that the free Wi-Fi was spotty in the bedroom part of the guest area. Loved the continental breakfast; many options. Plan to return again.

My wife and I were doing the wineries around the Akron/Canton area and were basically looking for an inexpensive overnight stay in the area. We selected the Bonny peacock mostly on the fact that if offers only a single guest accomodation. We were VERY pleasantly surprised with the beauty and large amount of space at our disposal and ther friendliness and helpfulnes of our hosts.

This little place was just divine! A spacious room with a king size bed and a large bath with 2 sinks and a rain head shower! Hidden off the road and very quiet and in a woodsy setting. Just perfect with a continental breakfast - Mary even got me soy milk!

We stayed one night during our trip to Yankee Peddlar. The bedroom is large with a modern bathroom. The house is clean but dark and a little cluttered for my taste. I would rate it as average.

The Bonny Peacock is a wonderful place to stay. So much better than a hotel. Nice job Mary and Pat. I'll stay again if I get the chance.

We've stayed at many places in Ohio Amish Country and the Bonny Peacock is our new favorite. The Bonny Peacock is not only reasonably priced for a B&B, but it also includes the benefit of a private and spacious space to rest, relax and enjoy. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable. Pat and Mary were friendly and enjoyable to visit with. The continental breakfast was very good: perfect hard-boiled eggs, muffins, cereal, juice, yogurt, fruit, milk, coffee and tea available. I would highly recommend staying at the Bonnie Peacock!

My stay was just what I needed. I had plenty of room and extra snacks if I wanted. The owners were so sweet and it was so quiet and relaxing...I am planning to stay again!

Out of the way enough to relax, but close enough to the sites for easy days. Amish areas where beautiful, and Lehman's is grand. Pat and Mary made us feel comfortable in their home and we even left with a recipe.

A quite get-a-way, that requires a two night stay to fully enjoy.

Nice B&B with plenty of areas of the house to roam. Innkeepers were pleasant. Only real complaint is a fan should be available for the bedroom since it was the hottest room in the house

We stayed for a night at the Bonny Peacock after a day in Amish Country. We were on our way to Cleveland, so the location was perfect for us. Pros: Huge, beautifully decorated house. Friendly owners. Great value. Memory foam bed. So peaceful and quiet. You are the ONLY guest! Wonderful breakfast! Cons: In shower - low water pressure and water smelled (but filtered water was available for drinking.) It was warm (uncomfortable to sleep) in bedroom with no way to lower temp. The wi-fi signal was poor in bedroom and often disconnected (worked fine in main part of house.) The cons are VERY minor compared to the pros! For half the cost of a typical Amish Country B&B, you can get a very atypical stay at a wonderful place!

We have stayed here four times now. The building and atmosphere are great, food it delicious, and the bed very comfortable.

Our 2-night stay was part of a Canton Convention and Visitor prize. We had a delightful time, especially getting to know our host and hostess. This was a perfect location to enjoy a day trip to Amish Country. We relaxed and enjoyed our "mini vacation" so much that we sent an illustrated newsletter report on our stay to our loved ones.

It was my husband's first stay at a B&B and he was very pleasantly surprised that it was so much better than a motel. The cleanliness was outstanding; accommodations were beautiful; Mary was a gracious host. We'll definitely be back!

Our stay was pleasant, but ... the grounds are not real attractive or inviting, the water has a terrible sulpher content, and the room was cold with no controls. The owners were nice and pleasant.

Mary & Pat were very pleasant and made our stay very warm and comfortable.If your looking for a quiet,relaxing evening or 2 and want more then a "hotel room", the Bonny Peacock is a must. Looking forward to a return visit and we definitely recommend. Joe & Chris

The house was beautiful and the hosts were wonderful! Great price and the best hard boiled eggs I have ever had!! If we ever have reason to go back to Canton, I would stay here every time!

Breakfast was a delight and Mary & Pat are wonderful hosts. When I plan my next trip to the Ohio Amish Area, I will, hopefully, be able to stay once again at the Bonnie Peacock.

Interesting area, private guest wing, spotless home, attractive decorations, and a friendly couple who appreciates your business, but respects your privacy.

The value was outstanding and the atmosphere was comfortable and dependable night after night.

The innkeepers were very accommodating and cordial, easy to talk to and very helpful with guidance re the local community... very enjoyable stay!

The Bonny Peacock is in a class by itself. Everything about the place was superb. If you are anywhere near Canton/Massilon Ohio, you would be doind yourself a favor by staying there. We had a suite, including 4 rooms and an extremely comfortable bed. We may drive the 350 miles just to stay there again.

We were able to 'sneak in' for a single night over the Labor Day holiday weekend. The facility, proprietors, food, and general setting were all great! We'll be back for sure!!

The Bonny Peacock is an exceptional B&B. Lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Pat and Mary are great hosts.

You can expect comfort and charm in a peaceful country surrounding. The room was warm and welcoming, the bed was extra large and extremely comfortable. The sitting room was comfortable with a nice television for comfotable viewing without disturbing anyone else. The hostess was gracious and pleasant, even though we arrived at a very late hour. She made us feel very welcome. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and we would stay there again if we were in the area. You couldn't ask for a more pleasant surrounding or comfortable accomodation.

Stay was very pleasant. Could use a sign by driveway. Much more comfortable & private compared to a motel, and I also felt safer.

Our recent stay at "The Bonny Peacock" was outstanding! Our accommodations were cozy, comfortable and spotless! We felt quite at home in a very relaxing environment. The suite was very spacious--we basically had half of the entire (large) house to ourselves. Everything was very clean and well-decorated. The grounds were well kept and attractive. Mary and Pat were both cordial and Mary's breakfast was delicious. There is a decent board game selection if that is your thing. The only negative thing we would say is that the water in our suite was brownish and didn't taste very good. Fortunately, they provide clean drinking water in a big water dispenser. If we are in the area we would definately consider going back.

The Bonny Peacock is highly recommended for anyone staying anywhere near the Massalon-Canton area. It's not far from the Akron Canton airport and not hard to find. The rooms are warm, spacious and comfortable and the Innkeepers are wonderful. We were only there for two nights but had a fantastic breakfast. The Inn is very well kept up and clean and reminds me in many ways of the home I grew up in. My wife and I loved it. The beds were great and the property was quaint but beautiful! Were there in Summer but would loved to have been there for a night when the fireplace was going! It's that kind of place. Whenever we go back to that area we will be sure to stay there. No reason to look anyplace else!

Exceeded our expectations even though we expect B&Bs to be nice. Plenty of room and excellent accommodations. It was like renting a room and getting a whole house. Spoiled. The common area was substantial and pleasant as was chatting with Mary and Pat. It is very easy to recommend the Bonny Peacock. Thanks for a nice stay.

The Bonny Peacock is a lovely place to stay. The hosts, Mary and Pat, make you feel right at home! My husband and I had the King sized bed in a beautifully decorated huge room with a fireplace and a adjoining bathroom. My sister and her granddaughter were very comfortable in the sitting room with the sofa bed. We were allowed to enjoy the spacious living room and the adorable back porch areas. The view overlooking the ponds in the back yard was very relaxing from the comfortable swing. Pat and Mary suggested several excellent places to have our evening meal. Breakfast was delicious with many options: fresh fruit, muffins, bagels and eggs! I will tell my friends about this charming B&B and we are planning a visit every time we are in that area. We were very impressed with the Bonnie Peacock. The suite where we stayed had two large rooms; bedroom and study/tv room. The bathroom was large and everything was clean and had a real home feel. The breakfast was exactly right for both of us: vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Highly recommended!

My best friend and I stayed at The Bonny Peacock and it was wonderful! Pat and Mary were wonderful! The breakfasts were incredible and they didn't mind that we were on a different night schedule (I work late nights, so I stay up pretty late) The B&B was right near town, so I could go out and get something to eat at 3am, but it was also secluded enough that it was quiet, and there weren't lots of cars driving by while I was trying to sleep. Thanks for the great weekend!
