My husband and I stayed here one night, we wanted to stay two but unfortunately could only stay one, but it was a wonderful night. We chose the fall's kiss cottage. It was adorable, modern and comfortable. The fireplace was such a nice addition and really kept the room warm. The bathroom was very large and clean. I loved the high ceilings as well. The cottage was bigger than the pictures made it appear. Carol was so nice and made a delicious breakfast for the morning. We will definitely go back the next time we need a quiet get away.

What can I say? Carol and Herb were great! The breakfast they provided each morning was delicious. The Springs desire cottage met all of our expectations. The cottage was beautiful as well as the surrounding views. We would definitely recommend Garden Gate Get a way!

Can't remember how many times we been at Garden Gate, 7 maybe. It just never gets old. We still enjoy every visit. Although, we missed seeing Herb, Carol was her usual charming, informative and helpful host. Room was spotless and contained everything we needed, including bath robes. Breakfast was delicious with many choices, I had some of everything. We stayed three days and each day breakfast was different and unique. We enjoy bed n breakfasts and have stayed at many very nice places over the years. Garden Gate is certainly one of our favorites and by far the cleanest. They attend to every detail.

We recently stayed at the Garden Gate Get-A-Way B&B and it was lovely. The rooms were beautiful and the corner fireplace was a wonderful touch. The rooms were spotless and cleaned with care and when we arrived a plate of fresh choclate chip cookies were waiting in our room. Carol was a wonderful host and made a delicious breakfast each morning at 8:30. Her husband was very entertaining and took the time to get to know each guest and help everyone plan their daily activities. The fire in the evening was a nice touch and the overall experience was amazing. I plan on staying again in the future.

My wife and I originally planned to stay at the Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast for two nights. But we found that we were enjoying our time there at the Garden Gate Get-A-Way and surrounding area that we stayed an additional night. We would have stayed longer if we did not have other obligations at home. We enjoyed eating in some of the local Restaurants in the area, eating in an Amish home, taking a bus tour with Herb Steffey as our tour guide and bus driver, seeing areas of Holmes County that we would not otherwise have seen, if we had not taken the tour. Things that made our stay more enjoyable, was having TV and Internet Access in the room; the very nice Breakfast each morning and decorations within each room that we stayed in. We also enjoyed the campfires and conversation around the campfire in the evening.
