Your accommodations include everything you need to enjoy your stay in the country. The house is furnished to make you feel at home with a mix of antiques and country, and, of course, a flamingo here and there. The house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 5 with comfortable beds and luxurious linens, 2 full bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. It's the perfect retreat for 2 couples or a family with kids. Our beautiful private lake invites you to canoe, jump off the 14 ft. foot jump tower, or take a leisurely paddleboat ride (lifejackets provided). Explore the old cemetery in the woods. Also onsite are a pool, hiking trails and firepit. We have a large covered pavilion, complete with tables, grills, and a comfy hammock, perfect for a group gathering or cookout. There are homemade cookies or pastries for you to enjoy upon arrival. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the deck while listening to the peaceful sounds of nature. We stayed here in Nov 2012 for a weekend. We agree completely with the first review. The photos and description do not do this place justice. It is beautiful! Great surrounding. The Inn keeper is wonderful. We cannot wait to return next summer and swim in the lake. Highly recommend! Julie W.

Sometimes you look at pictures on a website and they look really nice but you tell yourself that you are just getting the best shots from the best angles. When we arrived at the inn it was late at night so we couldn't see too much of the outside. When we woke up in the morning and had a look around there wasn't much to say but wow! The pictures on the website don't doe justice to this little piece of heaven in the country. We felt like we were home, like we belonged there. Very peaceful and relaxing. Sally and Kirk were great hosts and we felt like we were visiting friends, not just guests at an inn. Our expectations were not just exceeded, they were blown out of the water.

Cancellations: A $20 handling fee will be charged for cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival date. Cancellations with notice of less than 14 days will be charged 50% of the room rate for entire stay. Same day cancellations, or no-show's will be charged the full amount of the reservation. At the discretion of the Inn, refunds, less the $20 fee, may be made in cases when we are able to reserve the Inn after your cancellation.

We suggest you follow our directions and do not use Mapquest. From I-275 (the beltway around Cincinnati), take Exit 59A, the Milford Parkway. Follow the Parkway approximately 1 mile (past Walmart, Target). Go straight across the intersection at US 50 where the Parkway becomes 131. Continue East for about 5 miles. You will pass a big blue water tower on your left, then turn right on Wild Rose Lane. Go 1 mile to the end of the road. The Flamingo Country Inn will be on your right after you pass through the farm gate. Please call 513-289-7711 when you arrive and I'll meet you there!
