    The Spitzer House Bed & Breakfast, 504 West Liberty St, is located four blocks from the square in historic Medina, Ohio, The gazebo, library, restaurants, gift shops, pubs, antiques, salon, spa, fine dining, and The AI Root's candle outlet and factory are all within an easy walk. The Spitzer House is a Victorian beauty hosting 3 guest bedrooms, all with private baths. Built in 1890 by a team of builders for Brigadier General Ceilan Milo Spitzer. General Spitzer and his cousin Adelbert were known throughout the country for organizing the first Bond Houses in the United States outside of NewYork. This German Renaissance home remained in the Spitzer Family for seventy years, and is a fine example of the Queen Anne architecture with Eastlake design. The Spitzer House has two cherry staircases, two ten foot tall cherry entrance doors, stained glass windows, 4 fireplaces/stoves, original warm pine floors,cherry and oak woodwork throughout. Spitzer House offers a comfortable respite for the hectic business traveler with corporate rates, free wireless internet and express breakfast to go, or a romantic weekend getaway for the leisurely enjoyment of a hot southern style breakfast, made with fresh local ingredients,7 days per week.     One of the the very best B&B's

    My lovely wife and I spent 5 nights here and loved every minute we were there. The ambience was warm and inviting and we felt relaxed and comfortable the moment we walked through the door that was graciously held open by Hayley the General Manager. Our Room was the best and well appointed. Slept like babies we did to awake to the most delicious breakfasts prepared by Hayley. Hayley is a wonderful InnKeeper and we found it fun to engage in conversations with her. We took note that she would ask what we might be doing on a given day and then the next day she would asked us how we enjoyed what we did. All in All one of the very best B&B's that we have stayed in.
