Located just two blocks from downtown Lebanon, you have all the convenience of being within walking distance to most events, but just far enough away, to enjoy the peaceful, private and well maintained gardens on the grounds of Silver High Manor. Built in 1847 by Thomas and Cassa Beachey, four generations of the Gallaher families lived and loved here from 1885 to 1983. This three story Gothic Revival style home is listed on the National Historic Register and noted for its beautiful iron lace portico surrounding the front porch. Start your day with a delightful and filling breakfast before you experience the quaint historic ambience of Lebanon’s many antique and specialty shops. Perhaps you would prefer a train ride to Mason, savor some sumptuous chocolate, or visit an ancient prehistoric fort, or an historical museum or two. Maybe you would like to ride on a scenic bike trail and then stop for a soda from an old fashioned ice cream parlor, or for dinner, try the historic Golden Lamb built in 1803. If Lebanon’s not enough to enjoy, there is King’s Island, The Beach Waterpark, Cincinnati’s Union Terminal, Freedom Center or the Zoo, Dayton’s Wright Museum, Waynesville’s Antique and Specialty shops, Springboro’s Historic District, Caesar’s Creek for a picnic, and several yearly local festivals such as the Bluesfest, Sauerkraut Festival, Renaissance Festival and “oh”, so much more! Silver High Manor is gently located on the corner of Silver Street and High Street, in Lebanon, Ohio’s historic East End District. After the activities of the day, you will find peaceful comfort in our private gardens and patios that spread for nearly an acre.

We arrived in Lebanon, and we decided to explore a bit before we checked in. Celeste was so accommodating when I called and told her we would be arriving a little later. When we got there, she gave us a tour of the place, and even gave a great suggestion for food. We ended up going to Doc's at her recommendation and loved it. She was so sweet and helpful. Breakfast the next morning was delicious - a seasonal breakfast which included apples since it was fall, eggs and sausage, potatoes, and fruit. We were so satisfied and full at the end! It was our first trip to a B&B. Overall, I think it truly exceeded our expectations. I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up there again. Thank you for your warmth and hospitality, Nick and Celeste!

I took my wife for her birthday to Silver High Manor and we had birthday full of pleasant surprises! The first was the breakfast excellent! We even had seconds! That night, because it was a cool July, we were invited to sit by a fire-pit and enjoy the warmth of the fire and conversation, complemented with a bottle of champagne. The next morning my wife was surprised by a birthday pastry and a chorus of Happy Birthday and another excellent breakfast. My wife said it was the best birthday had had in a long time. Thank-you Nick and Celeste Stark!

My wife and I experienced our first trip to a B&B and we are going to make Silver High Manor our get a way destination. From the elegant house, the exceptional rooms and absolutely delicious breakfasts, we were very impressed. What made our stay most memorable was the hospitality shown to us by Celeste and Nick. Sitting at the table with them made us feel like we had known them for years. Bravo Celeste and Nick. See you very soon.

My husband and I recently stayed at this home, it is so beautifully decorated I couldn't help looking and admiring all the trim work, medallions and beautiful decorations! Nick and Celeste were so kind and gracious to us. I would love to stay with them again in the future. The only thing we would prefer to have is a small dinette area with a coffee pot, table and chairs, microwave, s. refridgerator. Just an area for guests to use on their own time. Maybe even a small t.v. in room would be nice. Other than that the house was fabulous!

I had a wonderful experience. Accommodations were excellent; I was impressed with the beautiful place settings and delicious breakfast, not your typical continental breakfast that I expected. Celeste and Nick are great people and gracious hosts. I learned about the history of Silver High Manor, Lebanon Ohio and places to visit. I will definitely stay again!

My husband and I have stayed at dozens of B&Bs, and Silver High Manor was among the best. Celeste and Nick made our stay extremely comfortable and fun...we wish we could have stayed longer. Great food, conversation and sleep!

This 1800's home is both historical and comfortable. Loaded with beautiful antique fixtures like the claw footed tub & brass piped shower, it's quaint but rich in history & detail. The gardens are well maintained and have the aroma of honeysuckle fills the air. Celeste & Nick are very thoughtful in their preparations. If you're looking for an authentic experience of the area, you can't do better than Silver High Manor.
