Silver High Manor Bed & Breakfast

We stayed on February 13, 2013 for our 38th anniversary. Our hostess, Celeste, was most gracious. The B & B dacor and preservation of the uniqueness of this home is impressive. Celeste's knowledge of the history of the home is extremely intriguing. Our breakfast was beyond all expectations... a delicious and fulfilling meal served on heart shaped plates. We would HIGHLY recommend this B & B!

We have visited Lebanon for over 20 yrs. now, and have found our all-time favorite B&B in The Silver High Manor! Celeste & Nick are the consummate hosts- providing lively conversation, exceptional breakfasts and top-notch accommodations! We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. You will love them, too! J&V

My wife recently spent our anniversary with a weekend at the Silver High Manor. Based on the reviews we had read we had high expectations and Celeste and Nick did not disappoint us. They have a lovely mid-19th century home perfectly located on a quiet street just blocks from the main shopping district and within walking distance to the historic railroad. My wife and I have stayed at dozens of B&Bs and it's the little touches that make a B&B memorable. Celeste's recommendations for restaurants activities were spot on and she was happy to help in anyway she could, including having discount passes to the historic Railroad waiting for us at the train station. Since it was our anniversary, we were super how you spell check in with a cold bottle of bubbly and two champagne flutes in our room. overall we had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to our next day at the Sver High Manor.

This was our first visit to Silver High Manor as well as our first time at a B&B. Celeste and Nick were delightful, and take excellent care of their home. The grounds are gorgeous, and the house ic immaculate and well-furnished with period antiques. Bed was comfy & food was fabulous! We recommend this to anyone staying in the Cincinnati area who wants a change from the standard hotel.

The hostess has become a good friend. My sister and I have stayed since December 2005. Our stays are always very enjoyable. The food is wonderful!

Our Stay was excellant! The package that Celeste put together for me was outstanding!. The Package included A Great Train Robbery and visits to the local Museam and Dining at the Golden Lamb. Also, we visited A mansion -Very Impressive... We also, managed to visit a Castle in the area. I found this most intriuing!. No Ghosts--- but the Castle was wonderful.! Celeste is very accommodating. She prepared all the breakfasts from scratch. Everything was excellant! very tasty!. She even remembered our Birthdays. She is very personable and easy to get along with. If you have any special needs in your foods she will accomadate. You even get seconds!. I felt very much at home there --like I was visting my relatives. I will return for another visit in the fall.

Celeste made us feel very welcome and she is a wonderful cook. Breakfast was to die for!! She also gave us some suggestions for shopping which were very welcome and helpful. Beautiful grounds and it shows the innkeepers love of gardening. This B & B made our sisters getaway memorable!!!

I recently returned from a family stay at this Bed & Breakfast, and wanted to provide some insight (from a husband's perspective) for those of you looking for a getaway. After many years of staying in every type of hotel, the Silver High Manor was a real treat! I definately felt like I was staying at a family member's home, as Nick & Celeste made sure we had everything we needed. From the historic side, I was drawn to the unique internal features this home offers such as ornate crown molding, period high ceilings, pocket doors & neat fire places. A beautiful dining room, hardwood floors, neat starcases, leaded glass windows & period-correct quality all become apparent. A step to the outside revealed an amazing amount of desirable in-town acerage, with a neat outbuilding surrounded by luring gardens. The architecture is historic and adds to the charm, but the real treasure is in the owners and their passion for what they do. The breakfast may be the single best meal I have ever had when traveling, and the bed in the Lilac room was an extremely comfortable place to sleep as well. I am certain I woke up a year younger and felt very refreshed. Other than dreaming a garage existed out back with vintage italian cars, I found myself wanting for nothing. Nick does, however, have a display of Franklin Mint scale cars and a few other rarities to share. Both of our sons slept across the hall and enjoyed their stay, even though they are teenagers and have not yet learned to fully appreciate historic surroundings. Perhaps there could be a Bed & Breakfast AP for their phones to bring this full circle. In closing, husbands, don't hesitate to bring your better half to this great place as part of an anniversary gift, or just to see the local sights. This was the second time I have stayed at Silver High Manor and loved it both times! The breakfast is amazing and Nick and Celeste are wonderful people who make you feel very welcome. It is like going home after a long time away! Can't wait to go again!

Stayed here on a business trip and could not have been more pleased. Celeste went the extra-mile in hospitality and information. Explained much about this special city and made great suggestions about what to do and where to dine for dinner. Offered low-cost and fine dining suggestions. I recommend the historic Golden Lamb Inn, so close to the B/B. Breakfast was huge and delicious, including fresh fruit, breads and an egg entree. She is a great cook and cares about dietary concerns and allergies. Will stay there again when business takes me to this area between Dayton and Cincinnati.

My Sister, Childhood girlfriend & I stayed at Silver High Manor, (in the Ribbon Room) Sept 9th & 10, 2011. Celeste made us feel like family, we didn't want to leave. She made the best Breakfasts both days and she sat, talked & ate with us on Saturday then on Sunday we got to meet her husband, they both sat with us and ate breakfast just like we were one big family. They told us the history of the house, made us feel that it was our home too. We have stayed at many B&B's but never as inviting as this one !!! Thank you Nick & Celeste !!! Vicky, Sue & Nancy

This is our first visit to Lebanon and Silver High B&B. We found both enjoyable. Celeste keeps the B&B clean and comfortable. There are two rooms with their own bathrooms. The bathroom for one room is down the hall which we still found convenient. The breakfast was delious and filling. Celeste's suggestion of having dinner at a local restaurant "Golden Lamb" was excellent and made a delightful evening. We love to bike ride and Celeste was able to direct us to beautiful bike trails. We attended the US Tennis Open at Mason and Silver High Manor was a convenient 15 minutes away. We plan to stay at Silver High Manor next year when we return to Mason's US Tennis Open. Only caution I would give is that Celeste has two very well mannered dogs, so if you are allergic to dogs be forewarned.

From the beautiful rooms to the incredible breakfasts~this bed and breakfast is truly a keeper. It's located close enough to downtown to walk, yet it is on a quiet little street away from all the traffic and noise. Just a short drive from Kings Island and The Beach water park. Also, close to the home of the Western and Southern Open (for all of you tennis fans). The owners, Celeste and Nick, are very easy to be around and truly just make you feel at home. I have stayed here numerous times and hope to stay many more. Julie

Beautiful rooms and delicious food. Great location. The Innkeeper is warm and welcoming and guests feel at home. Rooms are quiet and private.

We have enjoyed several stays at Silver High Manor. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Celeste's breakfasts are always delicious, filling and accompanied by stimulating conversation. The inn is within walking distance of the downtown that offers shopping, food and entertainment. We give Silver High Manor four stars!!
