We wanted to get away from the city and enjoy a nice, quiet New Year's together. Bear Creek Farm Bed & Breakfast was exactly the place we were looking for. The home and setting were beautiful and comfortable. The breakfasts were incredibly delicious. Innkeepers, Jerry and Judy, were welcoming and made our visit special. Michael & Mary

My husband and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary by staying at the Bear Creek Farm Bed and Breakfast (Dec 1st). After a pretty little drive and a deer crossing our vehicle's path we pulled up to the fresh and strong appearance of the main house with sparkly, warm candles cheerily lighting each window. The chill of winter coming made me immediately desire to come back in the spring and summer to enjoy the welcoming porch with it's lonely rocking chairs! Upon entering the house, the beautiful woodwork and exquisite decor were only outdone by our host's kind and friendly hospitality. We stayed in the Captain's Room and immediately enjoyed a tasty welcome treat of berries and chocolate mints, then settled in for some quiet moments in front of the toasty little fireplace! We really enjoyed soaking up all the details of the well thought out and created decorating masterwork and the time we spent was very enjoyable in all ways. Breakfast in the morning was scrumptious with its cornicopia of dishes and flavors all masterfully presented, along with friendly conversation by our hosts. We look forward to going again in another season to enjoy more of Bear Creek Farm's Bed and Breakfast's wonders! Great time, great place, great food, great hosts--you don't want to miss this wonderful getaway!

From the turn off the road onto the driveway we knew it was going to be interesting. The driveway is long & winding, following the topography & going back a solid ¼ - ½ mile. The décor was tastefully done. As soon as you crossed the threshold you felt peace. We stayed in the Captain’s Room, having a slight nautical theme to it. The furniture was beautiful wood, along with a simulated fireplace for ambiance. We would have LOVED to walk the grounds, but the rain didn’t cooperate.. There were a few attractions close by, so we decided to take a drive to a local winery for the afternoon. After a wonderful dinner in Ashtabula Harbor are, we rented a movie, and settled in for the night. Come morning, we proceeded downstairs, following our noses to the smells of a wonderful breakfast awaiting us. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! It consisted of a frittata, yogurt parfait with fresh blackberries & homemade granola, sausage patties, fresh scones, apple cake, & a wonderful orange smoothie. There was a Keurig machine on the counter with an assortment of coffees and teas. We actually invited Judy & Jerry to join us and chat while we ate breakfast,& ended up chatting for awhile finding out that the 7 degrees of separation theory actually cut down to roughly 2 degrees. What a small world, our families and friends were connected without knowing prior to this. This was a WONDERFUL weekend that we spent here. We had all we needed. We were afforded our privacy if so desired, and yet they were close enough that if needed, there were no problems getting in touch with them. They are a wonderful couple that have decided to venture into this to share their home, their property, and if needed, their faith. Jerry’s blessing before our breakfast was nice. We are TRULY thankful AND blessed to have shared our time together at Bear Creek Farm B&B and have no problem recommending it to ANYONE needing a peaceful place to spend time away.
