Just perfect :)

Looking for a place to enjoy some much-needed time away, found Orchard House online; it was exactly what I had hoped for. Beautiful property with several places to sit outside, or walk the grounds & see the lovely pine forest in back... spotless room & bath, comfortable bed, delicious food. Owners Dean & Jodi were gracious and welcoming. Short drive to Granville with things to see & several places to enjoy lunch & dinner. Will definitely be back :)

Had a great time at the Orchard House!

4.6 on January 05, 2016

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Orchard House between Christmas and New Years Eve. The home is charming and full of character. Our room was very comfortable with a king size bed, extremely clean bathroom, and wi-fi. We slept well both nights. We will definitely plan on returning to the Orchard House and have already recommended it to our family members.

The owners were very nice, house was well kept, and would go back the next trip to the area. Highly recommend, Randy and Barb

Great B&B!

A perfect stay. Loved the animals. Highly recommended. (Watch carefully for the sign; it's not obvious.)

Overnight Stay

dean offered a warm welcome and was extremely patient and lovely with our dog--who had been on a long car ride that day. We were given excellent service and loved every aspect of our stay. We had changed our plans just a few days before and they were able and willing to accommodate our needs. Next time, we will go for one of the other rooms where the bathroom is en suite. The one in the hall tat went with our room was fine but the other rooms were bigger and the in room bathrooms offer a bit more privacy for the price. The house is beautiful, well cared for and somewhere we want to return to.

Great Stay

Great B&B. Very reasonable price. Barbizon room was very roomy and comfortable. Breakfasts were exceptional, especially the pancakes. Late afternoon wine and cheese was a perfect start to an evening dinner at one of the nearby Granville restaurants.

~Quaint and Lovely!~

My little Layla and I stayed here during our life-changing journey from New Orleans, LA to Ohio. It was peaceful and beautiful. Layla loved meeting the really really big big big dog (horse). haha Dean and Jodi were wonderful. We were extra lucky to meet "Mom" who was delightful. We took several pictures, which I've shared as well. I would highly recommend this lovely B&B to anyone! ¿

Wonderful place to stay!

5 on August 22, 2014

Our suite was spacious, clean, and very well furnished. The antiques throughout the house were a special touch. Breakfast was delicious and served upon request rather than at an appointed time. Just be aware that our mapquest and car gps took us several hundred yards beyond the inn and, due to city ordinances, the sign for the inn is quite small and is easily missed. Great experience over all.

Fell In Love

We were so pleased with our stay. The breakfast that was prepared for us was amazing! We also enjoyed the Farm Experience feeding the animals. It was so nice to hear that all of the animals acquired on the farm were through rescuing. We will definitely stay with Don and Andrew again! ORCHARD HOUSE BED AND BREAKFAST IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Best B&B Around!

5 on June 30, 2014

Finally! This is what a B&B should be, other establishments should take note. The proprietors (Don and Andrew) are beyond hospitable and friendly without being intrusive. Because they live in a separate house behind the B&B you have a ton of privacy. Even with other guests around, the rooms are still very private (and clean) and the house is big enough to accommodate all. The house itself is beautiful and smartly decorated. My husband and I truly felt special because of our surroundings and the way we were treated. The complimentary wine and cheese hour was a perfect way to unwind before dinner, and breakfast was tasty (the eggs were taken right from the hens that morning!). Beyond that, there are all the little 'extras' like baked goodies, a keurig with an assortment of teas and coffees, a mini fridge, ice maker and water cooler at your disposal 24/7. We loved being able to walk the property and feed/pet the many farm animals! You're in the country but centrally located to Granville and other areas of interest so it doesn't feel like there is no where to go. I could go on and on. This was a great weekend getaway and I would recommend to anyone who needs a reset.

Signature Dish

Savoury French Toast
Dean's House Special - Savoury French Toast - is a unique twist on a normally sweet breakfast. Using bread from Lucky Cat Bakery - the all natural bakery located right across the street - eggs from our chickens and greens from our garden, complimented by a sausage patty - free range pork from Copia Farm, just 8 miles away, spiced from our garden herbs. You can often expect an apple salad also, made with our own apples and yogurt from Snowville Creamery.
