Whispering Oaks Bed & Breakfast is a Red Wood home tucked in a forest of Oak tree's,Hickory & Evergreen's. Hike on the trails to visit all the critter's that also call this home. Welcome to your home away from home.
The Willow Suite is a Victorian decorated room with a private bath and jacuzzi tub. The high quality bedding will help you have a great night sleep. Room has a HD cable TV, hairdryer, iron and board, fan and wireless internet.
The Evergreen room is decorated for the outdoor lovers with all the comforts of indoors. This quaint room has a private bath, Cable TV, hairdryer, iron & board, fan, wireless internet. High quality bedding is just one of the reasons you will have a great night sleep.
The summer landscaping around our pool will make you think you are somewhere other than the State of Ohio.
A heated pool with slide and waterfall. Plenty of lounge chairs and beach towels. The pool house has a full bath and kitchen you can use. Plenty of shaded areas also. Open from memorial day to labor day.

Welcome to Whispering Oaks Bed & Breakfast.We are more than a B&B, we are a resort!!! Enjoy your drive down the long country lane to your relaxation retreat. You will pass by Lee's Lake, stocked with bass & blue gill. On the right you will see the pool with waterfalls and a landscaped paradise. Recreation includes: a heated swimming pool, hiking trails, fishing, kayaking or paddle-boating on the pond.A hot tub and recreation room with pool table, large screen TV with Blue Ray CD player and a bar.We also have horsehoe pits & volleyball (during nice weather). A golf range is available for your use, just bring your clubs. We are located in Eaton, Ohio but near Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and located within 20 miles of Dayton, Ohio. Hueston Woods State Park is located about 30 minutes away. Welcome to your home away from home.

We had a wonderful time at Whispering Oaks Bed & Breakfast. From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we knew that it would be a tranquil place to stay and it far exceeded our expectations. Debbi & Mike Sowder provide excellence service and offer their guests a peaceful atmosphere that will always be memorable.

Looking to avoid the typical interstate motel options on a quick business trip, I was certainly more than pleasantly surprised by this exceptional lodging opportunity. Arrived near dark, without a reservation, and Mike & Debbi were more than accomodating under the late-day circumstances. Spacious newer home adapated to a B&B...only one suite, which wasn't available that night. Other rooms are basically sized for sleeping, which is fine, especially given the room to roam across the 57 acres of the property. It was a bit late in the year to take advantage of the pool, and wasn't outfitted to use the hot tub, but the hiking/walking trails through the woods were just right after a terrific breakfast. Easily accessible and fast wi-fi service, large & inviting dining porch, great pool area...and horseshoe area, too...now that's something you don't see everyday!

My husband and I had our wedding at Whispering Oaks just a couple of days ago and it was completely magnificent!!! Debbi & Mike bent over backwards to make sure that our day was special! We were offered space to get ready and our own bathroom! The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. ( Our wedding was a sun down wedding with tiki torches and japanese lanterns!) Every single guest complimented the location and the friendliness of Debbi & Mike! We could not have picked a better place to get married and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect! I can't thank Debbi & Mike enough for all that they done to make our wedding a true Twilight wedding ! Thank you again and we look forward to make a day and night of it when the weather warms back up!!! Angel & Jimmy Bennett

They have not been able to figure out how to scuba dive or snow ski at their B&B, so they have to leave their little piece of paradise so they can enjoy those hobbies. A group of us girls celebrated a fortieth Birthday Bash, and what a great place to do that. We rented out the whole place. There was plenty of space inside and out. Pool house, Gardens , Swimming pool , Trails, fire pit, Hot tub, Main house has several spaces for gathering and just hanging -out. Clean and Homey. You really don"t get how much space there is from the pictures.Debbi is so nice and helpful. She even help arrange Pedicures on site and Massages nearby . And just let me say the breakfasts were huge and DELICIOUS! You won't need another bite until dinner time. I would definitely go back.

Although our trip to Whispering Oaks B&B was short and rainy, we really enjoyed ourselves. We wanted to plan an overnight trip somewhere in Ohio for the Labor Day weekend. Stumbled upon Whispering Oaks online and knew it was a place we would like. We were able to swim in the pool before it rained, hit some golf balls, take a quick walk on the trail, use the hot tub (!!!) and paddle boat! When it started raining, we enjoyed relaxing downstairs and playing pool. My fiancee and I are both 21 years old and we went with a couple friends the same age. This place totally proves that bed and breakfasts' can be fun at any age! Our room was wonderful, and having access to the great room upstairs was awesome, we played a lot of Wii up there. Breakfast was delicious as well. Thank you so much for letting us stay, we can not wait to plan our next trip!

The room was small but we knew that we were booking a smaller room (the larger bedrooms were already booked). Everything was VERY clean, both inside the home and the grounds around the house. Plenty of room indoors to relax, play pool, watch TV or just enjoy a quiet drink. The gardens, pool area and other attractions around the lawn and surrounding woods were outstanding. We would surely stay here again!
