With stunningly beautiful ocean views and spacious private terraces off of every guestroom Agua Azul la Villa offers a tranquil vacation destination in a tropical environment. Designed as a bed and breakfast in the Pacific coast style, the Villa integrates architecture and landscape relying heavily on natural materials such as wood, rock, clay and palm thatch (palapa). Each of the six ocean view guestrooms is on its own level offering privacy to each guest. The main salon where breakfast is served is under a domed palapa 30 feet in diameter. Located just off this room is a small shared kitchenette where guests can prepare a sandwich, a salad or heat up the remains of a last night´s dinner. The two-tiered pool is surrounded by gardens with a shade palapa to one side. Located in a prestigious residential area, Agua Azul la Villa is a 10 minute walk to a long virgin beach and a short inexpensive cab ride to restaurants and shopping. Your Canadian hosts, Brooke and Richard, live on-site year-round and can arrange a variety of tours and activities as well as recommend restaurants and points of interest.

We stayed at the Aqua Azul la Villa for 2 weeks in January 2014. What an amazing place close to town – but not to close, great pools, beautiful garden, fantastic view, a place to restore and rejuvenate. The fruit plate for breakfast and the baked goods were always tasty, met wonderful people during our stay. Our hosts Brooke and Rick volunteered to drive us to town whenever they were going, always helpful, introduced us to local haunt, restaurants and beautiful beaches (La Bocana became our favourite).Taxis were always easy to get friendly drivers and inexpensive. The small town of La Crucecita is an absolute gem; safe, friendly and a reminder of what Mexico was like a few years ago. We owe Brooke, Rick and Tango, a huge thank you and appreciation for making this a fantastic holiday and we will return. Highly recommended. Arne & Melody We stayed in both the Delfin and the Marlin room, preferred the Marlin because of the privacy however the view from the bed in the Delfin was outstanding.
