The Pequot is a small friendly hotel situated in old Oak Bluffs amid Victorian gingerbread cottages. It is one block from the ocean beaches and a five-minute walk from downtown dining and shopping establishments. Public transportation and the ferries are also conveniently close. The 116-year-old Admiral Benbow Inn is a charming Victorian Inn surrounded by oak and maple trees, featuring a Victorian swing and hammock under the pine trees and by the bubbling stream and koi pond. The Inn was completely restored retaining the original wooden panels, frames, arches, and magnificent staircase. The first thing guests notice upon entering the Inn is the beautiful hardwood floors, and tiled fireplace in the sitting room. The sitting room is furnished with comformtable couches for relaxing. The dining room where a continental-plus breakfast is served, is furnished with an antique buffet and china cabinet. All the bedrooms are individually decorated with brass beds except for the master bedroom in which has a canopy bed, along with antique armoires, dressers and tables. The pictures and charts on the walls are a tour in themselves!

Walking distance to town shops, restaurants, nightlife, beach, public transportation, and seasonal ferry terminals. Located in a residential setting over-looking Hiawatha Park.
