I liked the stay in this traditional wooden house. The tasteful interior decoration and the kind innkeeper gives you a cozy and warm feeling. The street is quiet, with low traffic noise, but the house itself can be noisy, due to other guests with completely different wake-up and sleep rhythms.

    Wonderful place to stay!

If you want a place to stay near the Nassau Colosseum this B&B is wonderful... Quiet, extremely well appointed and comfortable. Almost like staying at a family members home only with better accomodations :-). Loved it and will return again.

In general, the place is very quite, nice and restfull. People are very polite and helpfull but even if it says that breakfast is served between 8 to 11 am, talk to them before and make sure that there will have someone. We left without having our breakfast so for us it was only "Anastasia's Bed". The bathroom is shared but really nice and clean. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated.

    Innkeeper Response
Our breakfast is a "Continental Breakfast", so you can have breakfast at any time. It does work for many of our guest who arrive very late at night and who want to sleep late. So technically they are right - we say between 8:00 am - 11:00 am but you can have breakfast whenever you get up...

We spent one night here while visiting relatives nearby. The place is very quiet on a dead end street, which is nice. It is spotless, beautifully maintained. Excellent on that score. The room was fine. The bathroom was fine - but there is only one for four rooms! This needs to be clarified in the description (there is another toilet downstairs off the kitchen as well). This was not a problem for us since we were the only ones staying there, but if there had been other guests, it would have been. One lacking - no place to hang towels! There should at least be a towel rack on the back of the door in the room, at, and a hook next to the shower for your towel, and a couple on the back of the bathroom door, for example to hang up your robe. Again, it wasn't a problem, because we were alone and could drape our towels over the tub to dry, but that's not a solution. No staff on site in the morning so the breakfast was help yourself to cold cereal, bagels, muffins, juice, but there were some real lackings in the whole affair, some of which I can't remember at this point, including what was in the fridge. On weekends there is a cooked breakfast. I had asked Gwen to get some yogurt and she did, though it'd be a good idea to have this available regularly. Overall, this place is ok for a night or two, but it needs to be consistent in service, and having things available, since the owner does not live on site. She was there when we arrived and is certainly hospitable; a good effort is made, but there could be more done to overcome some obvious shortcomings.
