Enjoy the fall colors of the Finger Lakes in Watkins Glen!
The Park Room's private bathroom.
Guests of Echoes of the Glen are thrilled with its location and homey atmosphere. Awaken to the aroma of coffee & Barb's homemade muffins, scones or kuchen. Then sit down to a delicious, homemade breakfast of freshly ground coffee, teas, hot cocoa, freshly baked pastries, juice, fruit and a hot entrée each morning. Our breakfasts include fresh, local in-season products. Our in-season fruits are mostly picked by the innkeepers and made into jams or frozen to serve out of season.
It's just a short walk to the Main Entrance of the Gorge at Watkins Glen State Park voted #3 in the country! Echoes is located on the "flats" in Watkins, convenient to walk to restaurants, shops and many ice cream parlors, stroll out along the Seneca Lake Pier and through the Village Marina. You can sit on a bench and enjoy the sunset or boats sailing on beautiful Seneca Lake.
If you are a racing buff, you can walk to the International Motor Racing Research Center where you will find the largest collection of racing films in the world. Just a short drive up the hill you can visit WGI race track, where you can watch driving schools run their laps around the track in their high performance sports cars or purchase a ticket to drive your own car around the track behind the pace car.
More waterfalls, award winning wineries, the Curtiss Museum, Corning Glass Museum, Rockwell or Mark Twain Museums are a short drive away.
Your room will be touched up daily during your stay (unless you say for us not to).
