  • This is the view of our catkills Bed and Breakfast from the front lawn. There is a full front porch that gives you a great view of the part across the street and the mountains behind the park. There is a small lake in the park.
    This is a second floor room. 20 by 25 foot room with wall to wall with western view over the forest. There is a large private bath with spray jet hot tub/Jacuzzi
    This is the ground floor antique filled living room with gas fire place. It is connected to the entrance hallway and the dining room.
    This is what greets you when you come through the front door. Marble tile floor, carved maple and oak with a staircase on the left that leads to a meditation and contemplation room, The living room entrance is to the right.
    This is the a 18 foot by 18 foot room with a private bath. The bathtub is an antique. The view is west and overlooks the garden. You can see the catskill mountains in the distance. Early in the morning you can see the mist rise over the hills.

    Nice quick stay!

    My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay, a good night's sleep and a nice breakfast while visiting relatives in Stamford. Stamford is a lovely small town with a gem of a B and B. Lewis and Lily are pleasant folks and lively conversationalists. We'd enjoy staying again to try another room.

      Bus: Directly from Port Authority 42nd Stree to out front door. Driving From NYC •Take Interstate 87 North (the Thruway) to exit 19 (Kingston). •At the loop, follow the sign that goes straight onto Route 28 (Pine Hill). •Continue for approx. 45 minutes to Arkville. Make a right turn onto Route-38– and travel for about a mile. •Make a right at the T (Route 30) and stay on it until you get to Grand Gorge. •Make a left at the intersection of Route 30 and Route 23 (there will be a gas station on the left side). •Continue westward on Route 23 all the way to Stamford. •At the first traffic light, drive forward up the hill.
