Carol was a gracious hostess. This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious!
It is always great to hear that first-time B&B guests have enjoyed their stay. First impressions are priceless. Thank you for choosing VanCleef Homestead; and please do come back.

The place is really really nice and clean. The pool in the backyard is big! The host, Carol, is so friendly and makes amazing breakfast! Definitely will come back and highly recommend.
Breakfast is a great meal to prepare, and it doesn't have to be fancy to be yummy! I am a "Mom cook", and guests enjoy a fresh and tasty meal to start their day. We only wish the weather would cooperate so that more guests could use the pool! Thank you for your kind remarks!

Warm reception by Carol, who really makes you feel at home. Very beautiful house. Excellent breakfast.
The B&B is not just a business to us; it is our home. We welcome all guests like we would welcome our friends, and we treat folks like we enjoy being treated! We could not ask for a better compliment - our guests feeling comfortable and like they are at home. Thank you - and please come again!

A very comfortable B&B with welcoming hosts. Lovely old home located on street of heritage houses. Walk into the village and see the Cayuga-Seneca canal. A charming experience!
Our B&B is located in a lovely, historical village, and a short walk takes you back in history. Our home is one of the first homes built in Seneca Falls, and we are surrounded by many beautifully restored homes. The Seneca-Cayuga Canal is, with its two locks is a site to see. I am so glad you took in some of the sites! There is more to see!

The property/rooms were nice. The price may have been a little high considering there was no TV or wifi. The advertised pool was not open (it was too chilly during our stay anyway but it was mid June). We were only at the facility to sleep and left shortly after breakfast (which was good) so it suited our needs.
Reviews are a great tool for us to check on how we are doing. We do offer WIFI free of charge to our guests, and the password is provided in the welcome letter in each room. No TV in guest rooms has been an 18-year tradition of this B&B as a way of helping our guests relax and "unplug" from their daily worries and stresses, and to revive the lost art of face-to-face conversation. Our pool is typically available from early June to Labor Day, weather permitting, but our spring, and especially the past few weeks, have been anything but typical. We actually had the heat on for our guests over the weekend (mid-June)and guests were wearing jackets. We can only hope the cool days and nights are behind us so that the pool can be a part of the total experience at our B&B.

My sister and I shared the Cayuga Room, as we had 5 years ago, for 2 nights. Everything was in lovely order. The Parker house Grille & Pub, just a few blocks away, offered an extensive menu for our dinner. Carol prepared superb breakfasts with fresh local ingredients. We wouldn't hesitate to lodge here again.
It is always a pleasure to have repeat guests, and it is a compliment as well. Some of our guests become frequent visitors, and in turn, have become good friends. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience!

The couple who runs the bed and breakfast were very kind and informative. They offered suggestions on restaurants as well as places to go. The breakfast was delicious !!! Decor was a bit outdated and would need need updating soon. Lovely place and service overall.
Feedback from our guests is always helpful and appreciated! Prospective guests appreciate your honesty because they want to know what to expect. We work hard to maintain our 5,000 square foot home and property, and repairs and maintenance are endless and sometimes very expensive. Unfortunately, where our priorities must go aren't always visible to the guests. We strive to keep our B&B clean, tidy, and comfortable, and we are making improvements all the time. We hope you will return to see what we have done and the improvements made since your last visit!

Owners were so very welcoming, room was clean, bed comfy, and breakfast great. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend away it would be hard to find somewhere better ( they even swept the snow off of our car!)

French Toast made with Amish homemade bread, baked with fresh fruit, such as blueberries, apples, or peaches. Our guests have told us we should find another name for this dish, as the term "French Toast" doesn't do it justice!
