Private, hilltop, 1837 Greek-Revival manor on 6 acres, with Cayuga Lake access, located on NYS Scenic Route 89 and the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, with the Seneca Lake Wine Trail a 20 minute drive away. Tony, (Brooklynite), and spouse, John, (Manhattanite via Watkins Glen), and their two dogs migrated to the country over a dozen years ago. Seneca Falls is the birthplace of Women's Rights, so lots of local history to soak up. Comfortable accommodations. Not the Shangri-La, but far from the Gray Gardens. The Pool Room has a working fireplace and Jacuzzi in the private bath. Hearty, country-style breakfasts with local fresh produce; baked goods in the afternoon. Pet-friendly with local dog-friendly parks for you and your canine companion to explore. Love our dogs. Open to all, including infants and we are noted as a safe haven for trans and gender fluid folks. In-ground pool in summer; free Wi-Fi; 50 inch cable TV in parlor. Fab wine and cheese trails, hiking, biking, kayaking, outlet shopping, antiquing, bird watching, and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, too! Come check out the gay-friendly Finger Lakes and while you're at it, why not bring along your canine companion and make us your get-away destination in NYS wine country?

It was our first experience staying in a Bed and Breakfast. I would definitely recommend it. We met wonderful couples to share stories with during breakfast.. John and Tony were super hosts. Very friendly and warm.

We had the most relaxing time at the John Morris Manor. It happened that we were married on the same date as Tony and John, one year later. Both delightful, charming and excellent hosts. The breakfast was second to none and the room was more than comfortable. Tony made excellent recommendations for dinners and sights to see. Bender and Bear, their dogs, were well behaved and cuter than cute, especially when trying to beg a bit of breakfast. We will stay with them again next year. CAN"T WAIT!!

I had a lovely two days at this B&B. Tony fed us wonderful breakfast and their home is a great place to relax after a tour of the Finger Lakes. My bedroom was comfortable and clean. The common rooms also provide many comfortable places to read and watch TV. There are dogs which made it even more homey!

The owner was so helpful when our schedule caused us to arrive late that he stayed on the phone while we found the driveway in the dark. The breakfast was fresh and hot and wonderful the next morning. Beautiful views.
