Private, hilltop, 1837 Greek-Revival manor on 6 acres, with Cayuga Lake access, located on NYS Scenic Route 89 and the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, with the Seneca Lake Wine Trail a 20 minute drive away. Tony and John, and their two dogs migrated to the country over a dozen years ago. Seneca Falls is the birthplace of Womens Rights, so lots of local history to soak up. Comfortable accommodations. Not the Shangri-La, but far from the Grey Gardens. The Pool Room has a working fireplace and Jacuzzi in the private bath. Hearty, country-style breakfasts with local fresh produce; baked goods in the afternoon. Pet-friendly with local dog-friendly parks for you and your canine companion to explore. Love our dogs. Open to all, including infants and we are noted as a safe haven for trans and gender fluid folks. In-ground pool in summer; free Wi-Fi; 50 inch cable TV in parlor. Fabulous wine and cheese trails, hiking, biking, kayaking, outlet shopping, antiquing, bird watching, and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, too! Come check out the Finger Lakes and while your at it, why not bring along your canine companion and make us your get-away destination in NYS wine country?

Tucked away from the highway and out of view is this nice B&B which is quiet and charming. Room was spacious (Yellow Room) and breakfast was very good. Liked having coffee on the front porch in the morning. Nice to have use of a refrigerator to store the cheese we had bought along the way.

Tony and John are wonderful and welcoming hosts and prepare super breakfasts. We really enjoy bird watching off their screened-in porch or having cocktails around the pool. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with lots of character.
Summer flew by much too fast. We've just closed the pool for the season and are gearing up for guests visiting the area to admire the beautiful fall foliage and partake in the wonderful events on the Cayuga and Seneca Lake wine trails. Thank you for your very kind review and we hope to see you again!

We are repeat customers - always staying at John Morris when we visit our friend Dr. John & Fran Clark, long-time residents of Seneca Falls. It has an historic character, is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with a wonderful perennial garden and a resort-quality swimming pool. We love the owners Tony & John who always greet us with genuine warmth. The breakfast is always delicious and served in the old style in a well furnished/decorated dining room. Love this place!

I've only stayed in a few bed and breakfasts in our lifetime and wasn't sure what to expect. The John Morris Manor bed and breakfast was perfect for my husband and myself. The rooms and bathroom were nicely sized and very clean. The grounds and gardens were beautiful and the nights are very quiet. Absolutely loved the view from the front porch. The pool was large and inviting; however we were too busy to use it. They also had a nice fire ring outside that we did not take advantage of. The food was absolutely delicious. The daily breakfasts were the highlight. Large portions, delicious and ever changing. Tony takes pride in his cooking and it shows. Bender and bear are very cute dogs and well behaved. Overall.....our stay was perfect. Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words. You make us feel proud and happy that our home is welcoming, that Tony's breakfasts are appreciated, and that Bender and Bear don't get under your skin. We truly enjoyed your company and look forward to future visits.

I stayed at the John Morris Manor Bed and Breakfast with my mother and my dog Ernie on the last stop on a road trip from Los Angeles to Boston. It was a welcome quiet sanctuary. We stayed in the Jetson room which was clean and comfortable and had the most charming wallpaper. Breakfast was delicious, and Tony was a gracious host with great advice on where we could go in town for dinner with the dog in tow. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone traveling through or to the finger lakes region.
You make us blush. We love our visiting canines and their well-behaved owners. It's great to know that you found our home clean and comfortable and that we were able to offer you local information that was helpful. After running the B&B for 12 years, we accumulated a wealth of info on the local wineries, best restaurants, hiking trails, and historical sites. Thank you for the wonderful review.
