Nestled at the foothills of the High Peaks Region in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, is The Schroon Lake Bed and Breakfast Inn. Built in 1920, the Victorian farmhouse offers wonderful views from our Grand Front Porch.

From Albany and points south: New York State Thruway to Albany, Exit 24. After toll booth take exit 1-N to I-87 (Northway). Follow I-87 North to Exit 28. Bear right at end of ramp to 4 way stop sign. Right onto Rt.9 South and proceed 1/8 mile - Inn is on right.
From Boston: Route I-90 West to I-87 North (Northway) to exit 28 and proceed as above.
From Montreal: I-87 (Northway) South to exit 28. Take left off the exit ramp and proceed to 4 way stop sign. Right onto Rt 9 South and proceed 1/8 mile- Inn is on the right. - Nearest major airport: Albany, NY (ALB-Albany County) 88 miles

Policies - Minimum stay required (July and August has a 2 night minimum)

- Deposit amount required (Reservations will be confirmed with payment in full for a one night stay. A 50% deposit is required for stays of two or more nights, with balance due upon arrival.)
- Check in time is 3:00pm-7:00pm and Check out time is 11:00am
- Cancellations:
Deposits will be refunded when notice of cancellation is received 14 days prior to arrival date. Otherwise, deposit will be refunded only if we are able to re-book the room. All cancellations are subject to a $25.00 processing fee. Early departures and last minute cancellations are non-refundable. - Accepted by the following agencies:

Mark's passion is music and he plays the guitar/ukelele/harmonica and sings. Sharon's hobby is glass blowing and various forms of art glass. Both have traveled extensively and have a passion for adventure. Skiing, snowboarding and snow shoeing are winter past times as well as hiking and camping in the summer. - The innkeepers speak: English
