Bed by the Stream is a cozy ranch house with a beautiful historic barn, situated on 5 acres of streamside property in the Hudson Valley. We are conveniently located in Ulster County on the border of Saugerties and Woodstock in upstate New York.

Our stunning, wooded property is surrounded on three side by the Plattekill Stream. Stop by anytime to walk in beautiful gardens and breathe the freash air of the country.

Enjoy an unforgettable hot country breakfast on our sun porch overlooking the stream. In summer cool off in our in-ground pool.

We are a non-smoking household that welcomes children and pets.We can even board horses, please call for details.

Directions to property:
FROM NEW YORK CITY
George Washington Bridge west to the Palisades Parkway north.
Proceed to Exit 9W for I-87/I-287 and follow I-87 north to Exit 20; Saugerties.
FROM THRUWAY EXIT 20
Left after toll onto Rt 212 west for 3 miles. Left onto George Sickle Road.
Turn left almost immediately, and before a red house on left, into a long driveway.
Bed by the Stream is at the end of the driveway.

FROM MASSACHUSETTES
Mass Pike (I-90) west to NYS Thruway (I-87) south to Exit 20; Saugerties.
Follow directions from Thruway Exit 20.
BUS FROM MANHATTAN
Adirondack Trailways runs busses regularly from Port Authority to Woodstock. Taxi service is available for the short ride to Bed by the Stream.
TRAINS FROM MANHATTAN
AMTRAK runs regularly from Penn Station to Rhinecliff, NY, approximately 15 miles from Saugerties. There are no rental car agencies in Rhinecliff, but taxi service is available.

METRO NORTH runs regularly from Grand Central Station to Poughkeepsie, NY. approximately 40 miles from Saugerties. Rental cars and taxis are both available in the Poughkeepsie area. Call for details.

Deposit amount required (To confirm reservation of 1 night only, 100% deposit is required at time of booking.To confirm reservation of 2 or more nights, 50% deposit is required at time of booking with remainder due 14 days prior to your arrival. If your remaining deposit has not been received by that date, your reservation will be cancelled and the deposit will NOT be refunded. If there are fewer than 14 days before your visit, 100% deposit is required at time of booking.)
Cancellations:
As a small inn, cancellations and no-shows do significant damage. Last-minute notice gives us little chance of filling your space, so we uphold a strict cancellation policy. Cancellations made 14 days prior to your arrival date will receive a full refund of your deposit, less a $50 handling fee. OR you may apply the entire amount of your deposit toward a future stay within one year. If cancellation is made less than 14 days prior to your arrival date, no refund will be possible, regardless of the reason. Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed reservation date, you will be responsible for all room nights previously booked.
