For the past few times we have visited relatives in Rochester we have had the pleasure of staying at the Rose Garden. Cindy and Lou are very accommodating hosts with lots of ideas for sight seeing, restaurants and local concerts. They always extend an invitation to our daughter and her boyfriend to join us for one of their freshly prepared breakfasts. A memorable stay in a quiet but convenient neighborhood.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Rose Garden Bed & Breakfast while visiting Rochester for my son's graduation. It is a beautiful home and the grounds of the home were like a park. I cannot say enough about Cindy and Lou. They went out of their way to make my stay special. The breakfast was fantastic and served in an elegant style . I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone that is travelling to Rochester, I also would like to wish this couple the very best in all they do.

Wonderful find tucked inside of a city neighborhood. Lots of character, gracious owners and a delicious breakfast all for a very reasonable price.

This B&B is in beautiful, historic, quiet neighborhood in Rochester. My initial contact via email with Cindy and Lou was helpful. They responded quickly and with all the information I needed in order to decide if this would be a good place to stay with all my bridesmaids (7) the night before the wedding. When we finally talked over the phone, they were more than accomodating and coordinated details with myself, my maid of honor, and even some of my out-of-town guests that wanted to stay there the night after the wedding. The rooms were affordable and very roomy. 7 of us slept quite comfortably and fit in TWO rooms only!! The full, private bathroom in my room was 100% clean and 200% charming. The breakfast was delicious and ready right on time. We didn't get to pick what we wanted to eat, but that may have been because there were so many of us. The pictures that the professional photographer captured while I was getting ready for my ceremony were so much nicer than if I had them done at my apartment. My out-of-town guests told me their stay was cozy and wonderful as well! I will be booking an anniversary "stay-cation" with my husband in the near future for sure!! I loved it here!!!

We had the pleasure of staying with Cindy and Lou for two nights while attending my daughters college graduation. The decorations and attention to detail in all areas of the home is amazing. The yard is beautiful with a number of flowering plants and trees, and the home is equally amazing! We stayed in the English Rose room which is decorated tastefully and with a very comfortable bed. The home is quiet, in a nice section of well-kept older homes and centrally located to several resturants. Along with the amazing home, Lou's breakfasts were top notch. Each day we had fresh fruit, and the entree's included waffles one day and quiche/frittata the next. I would recommend the Rose Garden B and B to anyone who is traveling in the Rochester area!!

As a documentary video producer, I travel a lot. In February, 2013 I stayed at the Rose Garden in Rochester. Good choice and the price is reasonable. Cindy and Lou are expert innkeepers who make guests feel like they are home, not on the road. Biggest single factor is the attention to detail. From furnishings, to amenities, to customer service, the Rose Garden is among the best lodging experiences I've encountered including B&B's in Europe, most of the US and across Africa and the Middle East.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Rose Garden B&B for a wedding this winter. The house was beautifully decorated and cozy. We stayed in the Rose Cottage Room and had our own detached bathroom with a bath tub. Cindy and Lou asked in advance what sorts of things we would like to have for breakfast and came up with two great meals during our stay. We are gluten free and mostly dairy free and they were happy to accommodate! When my boyfriend decided to go on a sledding excursion while I was having my hair done with the bride, Lou even lent him a pair of snow boots! Both hosts were friendly and extremely helpful if we needed extra items during our stay (an ironing board for example). I hope to come back and stay in the Spring or Summer to see the roses in bloom, but the Winter Wonderland was also beautiful! I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast if staying in Rochester, NY.

My daughter and I stayed in 2 different rooms on a recent visit - the large English Rose room and the newly added Sunflower Room. Both rooms had great beds, adjoining private bath, and an extra bed. This charming B&B is beautifully restored, serves large, delicious breakfasts, and warmly greets all guests. We both loved the Rose Garden B&B and look forward to returning.

We stayed in the English Rose Room at the Rose Garden Bed and Breakfast for three nights during the 2012 Rochester Fringe Festival. Everything about our accommodations was exceptional: our wonder hosts, Cindy and Lou; our lovely room; the most delicious breakfast cuisine and its beautiful presentation; ease of parking; and close proximity to all Rochester attractions.

Cindy and Lou are fantastic! In my travels I found that there are two types of B&B owners; those who are trying to turn a profit and those who sincerely enjoy hosting. Cindy and Lou are of the latter. They go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Their hospitality is unmatched! Don't believe me? See for yourself. Book a night or two, see all the wonder Rochester has to offer. Then end your evening by sitting on the porch and have a conversation with your hosts that goes beyond your typical small chat. Did I mention that the food is fantastic? More than my wife and I could eat. Fresh and full of flavor. Great variety. Menu changes daily, so if you stay two nights there will not be a repeat. Ask Lou if he is cooking potatoes. They are the highlight of the meal! Dan
