This stately STONE mansion on a rolling hillside a hundred feet above the clear water of Keuka Lake was opened in April of 1989. Since that time Linda and Robert Lewis, innkeeper/owners, have been guiding & serving thousands of guests. "People from all around the world make their way up the short drive, under the canopy of trees to the peace, quiet and beauty of the pillared Gone With the Wind Bed and Breakfast".

    Directions from Buffalo/Rochester

    Take NY State Thruway (Interstate 90) East to Albany, take exit 44 (Canandaigua) Route 332 to Route 5 and 20. Turn left onto Route 5 and 20. Go approximately 3 miles to Route 247 turn right. Go on Route 247 to Route 364. Continue through the little town of Potter. Approximately 5 miles after Potter, you'll see County Route 29, and also a sign giving mileage to Branchport (7 miles), turn right to Branchport. Continue 4 1/2 miles south of Branchport and watch for Gone with the Wind sign on the right hand side, turn up the driveway. You are now at Gone with the Wind Bed and Breakfast.

    Directions from Corning and Points South

    Take I 86 (State Route 17) to Exit 38 (Bath/Hammondsport) Rt.54. Continue on Rt. 54 through Bath, go seven miles to Hammondsport. Turn left at the light on 54A, through the village of Hammondsport, continue North on Rt 54A approximately 10 miles to Gone with the Wind Bed and Breakfast..
    Go through Hammondsport, passing the following:

    Three Birds Restaurant, 1 1/2 miles
    Waterfront Restaurant, 6 miles
    Lakeside Restaurant, 8 miles

    The view from the Stone House verandaRhett and Scarlett's Hideaway - A spacious room with a king size bed, bay window sitting area, wood-burning fireplace, door onto a private veranda where you can bathe in the morning sunshine and be tranquilized by the glittering water of the lake, or the occasional spark of evening fire flies.
    South Western Tara - Earth tone colors, Navajo decor, two dormer windows surrounded by panes of stained glass, views of sparkling Keuka Lake, queen size rustic log bed.Bonnie Blue Room - Views the lake the same as Rhett and Scarlett's Hideaway, queen size white bed, pastel colors.
    The Gone With the Wind Lodge Sitting RoomO'Hara Room - Of course named with Scarlett O'Hara in mind. Bob Timberlake furniture and decor, queen size bed, large bathroom with Irish green whirlpool tub for two.
    Half Moon - The name of Scarlett's horse, therefore a hunt decor with that splash of South Western found throughout. Rest well on the queen size sleigh bedBallyhara - Scarlett's castle in Ireland has this name and as a castle has a lot of room in which to move, so does the Ballyhara. The canopy bed is queen size and the marble bath is beautiful!
    Galway - Scarlett and Rhett spent time in this town in Ireland on Galway Bay. The room has a hint of French Country decor with a massive queen size colonial bed and armoire, shutters open to the views of the wooded setting of the log home.
