Pine Bush House Bed and Breakfast is a beautifully restored home built in 1904. We are nestled in the hamlet of Pine Bush, just over an hour drive from New York City. Located at 215 Maple Avenue we are within strolling distance of downtown (where you can experience relaxed dining or meander through numerous quaint shops); a short scenic drive to the picturesque Shawangunk Mountains; and minutes from the Shawangunk Wine Trail. We are a smoke-free environment with private baths (some with steam showers, jacuzzi and bidet); fireplaces; air conditioning; plush-top mattresses with egyptian cotton linens; in-room coffee/tea stations; in-room wine chillers; flat screen televisions with in-room movie access; and, high speed wireless internet. All rates include a homemade gourmet breakfast - we even have a cappucino, latte, and espresso maker. Fresh, homemade cookies or brownies is served, daily, from 4:00-6:00. The Inn’s quiet elegance has long made it a favorite for honeymoons, anniversaries, and other special getaways. One of the innumerable ways in which we provide exemplary service to our guests is by anticipating their every need - we call this the “white glove” treatment. In some cases, that need comes in the form of a request for a “permanent vacation". When this happens, generally we hear a long, contented sigh, followed by an “I wish I never had to leave.”

November 12, 2011
My husband and I wanted to get away for a night and came upon this bed and breakfast. How lucky were we? The Pine Bush House is in a small, quaint town that has a number of wineries within only minutes. The area is beautiful and this house is beautiful as well. The owners have clearly put their time and money into this house. It has a victorian feel and offers a warm feeling upon entering. There's coffee and biscotti all day if you'd like. Barbara is as sweet as can be. She gives you a tour of the house, insists you think of it as your own, and is willing to lend her ideas for things to do. She is also a wonderful cook! The room we stayed in was very cool - high bed, flat screen t.v., electric fireplace, updated bathroom with sauna shower. Basically everything that you could want. We would totally recommend this B&B to everyone.

5 out of 5Distinctive B&B exceeding expectations!
September 24, 2011
My wife and I stayed at the Pine Bush House B&B for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. We have never visited a bed and breakfast before, but this certainly exceeded any and all expectations! Barbara and Mark are wonderful hosts and offer a wealth of knowledge of the local area. They do everything possible to ensure a pleasant stay. Barbara's breakfasts and afternoon snacks are simply amazing! The house itself is charming, quaint, and very clean. It has a classic Victorian decor but has all the modern amenities to meet all your needs. The coffee bar is fantastic. We spent most of our time visit area wineries but when we had some free time at the house we really enjoyed relaxing on the front porch in the evenings. In colder months, I would have definitely made use of the cozy library room or sitting room. Our room (the Zinfandel Room) was great. We had plenty of room during our 3 night stay. We loved the Apple movies (essentially, a large selection of on-demand movies, which are free). The in-room Keurig and wine chiller were very nice touches as well, although we didn't use them. The bathroom was very nice, with a great multi-head shower system and steam bath, both of which we did use and really enjoyed. The Zinfandel Room faces the road, but we did not hear any noise at all and had a very pleasant sleep. The bed was firm and very comfortable. For anyone who needs a little background noise for sleeping, the room does have a "white noise" machine (we did not use that either). And for ambiance, there is an in-room electric fireplace. The house was very easy to find and seemed to be centrally located for anyone interested in visiting the Hudson Valley Wine Trail. However, it was Barbara and Mark who really make this place. They are superb hosts and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone looking to stay in this area.
5 out of 5Pine Bush Inn Outdoes Itself
February 13, 2011
Charming and immaculate, Pine Bush Inn is a delightful getaway for folks who can't be bothered with a concierge but who like the intimacy of a bed and breakfast atmosphere. Only an hour and a half from Hoboken/New York City, Pine Bush Inn is nestled off of winding roads and sprawling acres of beautiful foliage. A "home away from home," I cannot say enough about the welcoming warmth of the couple who run this little gem of a place.
5 out of 5Exceeding all of my expectations
November 23, 2010
Charming, Welcoming, Comfortable and Romantic. The B&B exceeded all of my expetations and it was just wondeful. Take a day trip to the city and enjoy all the excitement the city has to offer and then a ride on the train back to the B&B to relax and enjoy the hopitality the InnKeeper offers. Such a lovely experience.
5 out of 5Beautiful B&B! A great experience!
August 25, 2010
My husband and I spent last weekend at Pine Bush House, and we had an incredible time! The trip was about 1.5 hours from Manhattan, and the B&B was located in the cute little town of Pine Bush. When we arrived, Mark and Barbara were waiting for us, and they were very warm and welcoming! Mark showed us around, explained all of the house's fun gadgets and gave us a dinner recommendation in the area. The B&B itself was furnished beautifully, had a large nice downstairs space to relax, and was very, very clean. The outdoor porch was lit with candles in the evening, and it was a perfect location for a game of Scrabble or a glass of wine. We booked the Zinfandel Suite, which was just as beautiful as the website promised. The room featured soothing green and earth tones, a large 4-poster bed, armchairs, a fireplace (not wood-burning, but still romantic) and a flat-screen TV. We also had a small coffee-maker and wine chiller in the room. The bathroom was beautifully done and featured an elaborate steam shower that was fun to try out. The room was absolutely spotless, the furnishings and electronics were top-of-the-line, and the air conditioning worked well. I even noticed that the bedside drawer contained a flashlight in case you had to get up in the middle of the night...those little touches made a lot of difference! Breakfast was delicious, and Barbara was an excellent cook. The first day, we had a danish, an apple and walnut parfait, and a veggie frittata. The second day we had lemon-ricotta pancakes with fresh berries. The breakfast room featured plenty of coffees and teas to choose from, which were available 24/7. We were not around for teatime, but each night we noticed that cookies or other treats were left for us in case we wanted a snack before bed. Overall, Pine Bush House was an amazing B&B, and I would definitely recommend it if you are planning a trip in the area!
