Our contemporary solar powered home has five large comfortable rooms, including two log cabins. All have queen sized beds, private baths, and air-conditioning. We feature beautiful country views, yet are just minutes from Seneca and Keuka Lakes. Enjoy one of our award-winning breakfasts, then relax and watch the goldfinches and hummingbirds as they flit through our flower gardens. Fill your days with all that the Finger Lakes have to offer, then relax on our spacious deck and gazebo. In the evening, we can recommend a restaurant that suits your mood. On clear nights we can give star tours with a large telescope on our back lawn.
Our unique Grand Suite occupies the entire upper floor, with a separate sleeping room and sitting room with TV. The hand-made quilt for the queen sized bed is an "Iris and Hearts design". The large private balcony has a beautiful view overlooking our extensive flower gardens, deck area, and the Benton Valley. The suite is air conditioned (central air), and has a private bath. A single bed can be put in the sitting room to accommodate a third person at $30 per night.
Our Sage Room is on the first floor, and has a romantic queen size sleigh bed. Our Mennonite friends sewed a "Boston Commons" quilt with rich colors especially for this room. The room also features two comfortable Queen Anne style recliner chairs for quiet moments reading, watching TV, or just relaxing by the fireplace and watching TV. The room is air conditioned and has a beautifully appointed private bath.
The Blue Room is located on the ground floor and furnished with comfortable dark wood antiques. Our comfortable queen-sized bed has a hand stitched quilt made by local Mennonite women. The room includes a comfortable seating area and private bath, and is air conditioned.
The log cabins are our newest rooms. The exterior has a rustic look, but this isn't your grampa's log cabin. We have put in a very comfortable queen sized bed, state of the art air conditioner, flat panel TV, comfortable bathroom and more! Located at the edge of our woods, you are only a few steps away from the house and our famous breakfast.

On July 23 / 24th 2014, we returned for our 5th visit with Susan and Burney at LG. As expected we had a beautiful room, amazing breakfasts, and lovely views of their large and flowerful property. We also bought several jars of Burney's homemade jams to take home to Toronto, they are DELICIOUS. Anyone reading this should stay here for sure and anyone who has not enjoyed the wonderful rolling hills and wineries of the Finger Lakes must go there ASAP, it is spectacular !

This was our first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast. We found it to be very inviting. The place was beautiful. We stayed in one of the cottages which was perfect. Burney and Susan were very personable and very helpful during our stay. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We will definitely come back and have already recommended it to family and friends. The Hosts were very friendly and very accommodating. Bed, sheets and pillows were excellent. Soap, shampoo and toilet paper need improvement. Had to get my own but not a big deal as I am very particular on these items. Towels were a little rough and worn. The deck, common areas and dining area were all above par in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Location is good and central to all areas with 20-25 mins. of driving if you need to be near Watkins Glen. Food is fresh and well presented. Not gourmet but hearty and substantial. Jams and Burney's cooking well all well received by all guests. Would recommend this place as a 3.0 out of 5 stars and I am a discerning grader. Definitely one of the better B&B's in the Finger Lakes.

We just stayed for 3 nights at Los Gatos and we loved it! If you visiting Fingers Lakes for any reason that's the place to stay ; it's really home away from home just with an amazing home-made hearty breakfast with all home made jams and syrups and waffles and smoked bacons that keeps you going for most of the day. We stayed at the suite and had very nicely decorated two rooms and balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds. Susan and Burney are the warmest and most helpful hosts we ever came across and we loved how interesting they both are to chat too also. The location is great ; close to everything and we saw a lot of places and visited tons of wineries with our hosts suggestions. So if you are looking for good and reasonable place to stay - look no more!!

We keep coming back to this area because we really enjoy it. This trip we returned to Los Gatos and it was just as nice as the last time. We enjoy staying in one of the cabins. Sue and Burney have a great eye for detail and they have thought of everything. Also, they serve a yummy breakfast each morning.

We were looking for something a little different in a B&B and found it at Los Gatos. The cabin was absolutely perfect -- a rustic feel just like we wanted, but with all the comforts of home. Burney and Susan were great hosts and have a wealth of knowledge to share about the area. We would definitely recommend Los Gatos!

Our 2nd visit to Los Gatos and not our last. Burney makes the most wonderful breakfasts and Susan's homemade jams and juices make it perfect. Great location to all kinds of activities nearby. Already planning a trip back in the fall.
