We are a log home located in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. We combine rustic charm with comfortable accommodations. If you are looking for a unique bed and breakfast experience and a slower pace, then you have come to the right place! We are centrally located on the Keuka Lake Wine Trail, and are only minutes away from the Windmill. We are also close to Hammondsport and Watkins Glen.

And we done good. We needed to find a place that was close enough to HWS Colleges in Geneva, but still left us in the country, near the lakes and the vineyards. Loose Moose is homey and welcoming. It feels like staying with friends instead of in a boutique hotel. We shall return.

We have stayed at a number of B&B's in the Finger Lakes, over the years, and can honestly say that the Loose Moose could be the best. The combination of reasonable price, the most amiable and accommodating hosts ever, excellent breakfast choices, and comfortable rooms put it at the top of our list. Add the location on Keuka Lake near the Windmill and a short hop to Hammondsport, or Seneca Wineries and you have a great combination. Jennine and Dennis are perfect B&B hosts, the evening desserts are also great, (if you wish to partake)...the cherry pie was excellent; still warm from the oven. We will return...Dave and Pat

Jennine and Dennis could not have been more accomodating. What a wonderful place to stay with friendly people. We enjoyed the area and found our short trip to the Finger Lakes to be enjoyable. The Loose Moose comes with a high recommendation. Lin's b-day group!

We traveled to this lodge from Pennsylvania with some English friends. We were amazed at the warmth and hospitality shown us. The breakfasts were amazing. The advice about local attractions and the directions given were invaluable. Dennis and Jennine go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home and comfortable. Excellent value, great location, wonderful hosts. What more could you ask for?

My wife and I just got home to New Jersey after spending 2 wonderful nights at the Loose Moose Lodge. The place is stunning. The rooms are luxurious and well kept. The house is huge and the owners, Dennis and Jennine are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They are able to make feel like this is your home away from home. The food is great and Dennis will basically cook you what ever you want for breakfast. Not to mention Jennine prepares great snacks or desserts at night. So it is more than just breakfast. Lastly they have a wonderful dog. I would highly recommend a stay at the Loose Moose to anyone traveling to the area.

Our stay at the Loose Moose was very enjoyable. The Whitmore's are very welcoming hosts and breakfasts were excellent! Dessert in the evening was an added bonus! The open design of the house was welcoming and helped us to feel at home, not like we were supposed to stay in only one area. We'll definitely stay there again.

My fiancée and I stayed one night at the Loose Moose Lodge, and it was fantastic. The lodge is a log cabin tucked away in the woods on Keuka Lake. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable, and the entire building is warm, inviting and tastefully decorated. Our hosts (and their dog) made us feel extremely welcome, and the breakfast they prepared was over-the-top with Belgian waffles, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, and so on. We stayed in the Lake Room, which felt very private. We also appreciated the "no minimum stay" policy that made it possible for us to get away for a quick trip. Would definitely stay there again, and recommend to our friends!

My wike and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and had a great time. The host joined us for breakfast, not just to serve us, and it made it feel like we were visiting friends or family. It was a nice touch on a very nice bed and breakfast. Because of their location, you feel like you are miles and miles for anywhere, but are just a couple hundred yards from 54 on Keuka Lake. The house is beautiful and rustic. If you are looking for a nice place to stay without the pretentiousness of some B&Bs, the Loose Moose is for you.

We spent three nights at the Loose Moose Lodge with my sister and her husband this July. Everything about the place was wonderful-the rooms, food, and our hosts! You will not go away hungry after breakfast! Dennis and Jennine were "spot on" as far as recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. This is a great getaway to really "get away" from it all- a very quiet and peaceful place with beautiful views. A must stay! Claudia and Dennis, Monroe, NY
