Established in 2008 by Kathy and Jim Yonge, The Willows Bed & Breakfast has quickly become one of Keuka Lake's premier B&B locations. Six years ago, Kathy Yonge, head chef and Willows proprietor, had a vision to turn her beautiful three-story lakefront home into a Bed & Breakfast. She has succeeded in procuring business from guests as far as Vancouver and Belgium. "I love to cook, accomodate, and create a relaxing atmosphere. That's my recipe. It's really that simple, Plus, Keuka Lake is such a beautiful place. That's the first thing guests mention when they arrive at the Willows B&B. As for me, I am truly blessed to have lived and raised my family here."

This B&B is one of the finest we have experienced. Positives: Truly gourmet breakfasts with large portions; friendly, accommodating innkeeper; lots of extra niceties, including big, fluffy towels, full-size health and beauty aids (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, flushable wipes, makeup remover wipes); beautifully furnished; comfortable beds; beautiful decks overlooking Keuka Lake; total relaxation! Negatives: three-story home with entrance on top level, rooms on second level, and dining and decks on lower level. Lots of steep steps to negotiate, and there is no avoiding them. Room we chose because of king bed had a private bath, but we had to be dressed to go into the hall and across to the bath. As much as we loved this B&B, we would not return unless an elevator were to be installed, and a king room with bath within the room were to be added.
Thank you for all the positive remarks. Elevator? Where would I put it? So you did not like my built in step-a-aerobics, so sorry, really!! Living on a lake side has it's pluses and minus and I will miss seeing you again.

Beautiful accommodations. The deck, framed by willows, is a wonderful place to spend the evening. We fished off the dock every evening. Although the fish were small (big fish move into deep water in July), they were eager to bite, and catch and release is a fun evening activity. Although there are excellent restaurants in the area, we fixed our own two evenings using the large propane grill for salmon and steak. Kathy is very accommodating and helped us find all needed kitchen utensils. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and the relaxing sound of the water lapping at the lake edge can be heard from the bedroom windows. I don’t know if there is a B&B breakfast competition at Keuka Lake, but if there was one, Kathy would win it. Amazing breakfasts. As a tea drinker, I also appreciated the electric tea kettle reserved for hot water (no coffee-flavored tea!) and the extensive tea collection. The large house and expansive deck area with separate conversation areas provide privacy for everyone so even with a full house, it doesn’t feel crowded. The Willows also is a great launching point for day trips in the area and Kathy gives excellent tips for doing that. The views from the hilltops around the lake are absolutely spectacular. We could not have been more pleased with our stay.
Thank you so very much for the wonderful review. I enjoyed your company and lovely conversations. Opening my home and business to those who stay with us is our way of giving you the "extra special " vacation you need and deserve. " making good memories for years to come"

I traveled to The Willows from April 11-14 of 2014. I was looking for the perfect place to escape the grind of NYC while at the same time surprising my girlfriend for her birthday. Upon our arrival to the Willows we were stunned by the natural beauty of the lake house and it's surroundings. Our host Kathy made us feel like we were visiting a relative or a favorite aunt. She made us feel so welcomed that we literally forgot we were staying at a B&B. The house and her energy made the place feel cozy and very warm. Our plans were to spend most of our time exploring the vineyards, but often found ourselves rushing back to the lake house to take advantage of the cozy rest inducing atmosphere of our room. Our room boasted to magnificent views of the lake. We were so close to the water that the subtle sounds of the lake splashing up against the house doc/deck were enough to lull you into the most soundest of slumbers. Every morning we woke up excited to see what wonderful breakfast surprise Kathy had in store. She is a fabulous cook and our only regret was that we only got to taste her breakfast spreads. I could only imagine what her dinners are like. Kathy's partner in crime he her husband Jim. Jim joined us for every breakfast and provided us with great stories about the lake house and history of the region. Jim is a lover of all things man cave. Great wine, scotch, hunting, cigars, sports and mob tales. Needless to say the conversations we always entertaining. They did a great job with suggestions on vineyards, restaurants and spas. I would highly recommend The Willows for anyone who is looking to enjoy a weekend of total peace and cozy tranquility.

My wife and I stayed at "The Willows" for our anniversary. Starting in the biginning we arrived at the B&B and was promptly greeted by Kathy and John. They were open and welcoming upon arrival. They were on their way out to dinner and asked us if we wanted to come along.... amazing pepole! We asked for suggestions for dinner we did end up eating at the same location (The Liberty in Pen Yan) where we had a great meal. The place is not fancy but the food is very good. Good place after a many hour drive. Coming back to the B&B we checked into our room (all of the rooms are very nice and clean). We stayed in tranquility and loved it. The evening was perfect and we walked down to the end of the dock and it was pure enjoyment. The next morning Kathy had breakfast ready at 8:30am and it was GREAT!!! She is a very good cook and John was certainly entertaining. For the remainder of the day we went wine tasting and enjoyed the area. The following morning another wonderful breakfast and some coffee on the water. THere is no downfalls of staying at "The Willows". Great people, very quiet, and amazing views. One thing to note is that they recently changes to a 4 digit number in the address and most GPS will not recognize this new address. When you make reservations speak to the hosts and have them give you the information you need.

What a great get away and friendly environment. We ate wonderful, creative breakfasts each morning on the porch overlooking beautiful Keuka lake. Kathy was informative and had very interesting historical facts and information about Keuka lake. We had opportunities to take a boat trip to local restaurants and paddled the kayak to enjoy and relax, as well as enjoy wine tasting close by. It was a wonderful get away and really enjoyed getting to meet new people. Can't wait to do it again.
