wonderful stay for parents and kids!

4.8 on February 18, 2016

Both kids and parents had a lovely time at the Alpine Homestead. Kids loved the hot chocolate, big breakfast, & comfy warm beds (especially nice to have separate beds). Barry was incredibly helpful with ideas for restaurants, and when it was too cold to ski he even outlined a wonderful road trip itinerary with 3 great stops! Thanks so much Peggy & Barry!

Innkeeper Response
We enjoyed having your family with us and getting to spoil your kids a fact, we think they spoiled us! Thank you for your kindness.

I spent two nights at the Alpine Homestead B&B and absolutely loved it. The house is charming, the bed was very comfortable, the host (his wife was out of town) was wonderfully helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. I'm already planning my next visit!

We recently traveled to the Adirondacks to see the fall foliage. We found this B&B online, and really enjoyed our stay! Our hosts were very gracious and helpful with information on the area. Breakfast was excellent! Our bed was very comfortable, the facility offered great features for a quiet evening, and everything was very clean. This is a good location to use as a base for exploring around the Adirondack region. Definitely recommend.

A Great Place to Stay

4.8 on November 02, 2014

We stayed for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The 3-course breakfast was excellent, without repetition over the course of our stay. Barry and Peggy are very knowledgeable about the area and happy to help plan dining or a day's hiking with many guidebooks available. We felt very comfortable during our stay and hope to repeat the experience.

We loved to stay there!

Our 50th Anniversary Was Made So Special!

5 on September 05, 2014

From our late arrival to our departure, we were greeted and pampered as old friends. A pre-breakfast coffee, gormet breakfast, conversations, etc. is standard fare at Alpine. The owners exhibited what I call European hospitality which made us feel right at home.

Our First B & B

5 on August 30, 2014

My husband & I recently stayed at the Homestead for 1 night, and believe me, it was like home away from home. Peg & Barry were most pleasant and friendly, and made our stay memorable. Their home was warm and cozy, and the rooms was very comfortable. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and the decor was neat and tidy. The 3 course breakfast in the morning was delicious; everything was home made with love. We will definitely come back, only longer next time. We enjoy hiking, and there are multiple books in their living room to help you decide which trail is best for you. Believe me when I say that Peg & Barry are delightful people and we have been blessed to meet them. Looking forward to the next time we meet these charming folks!
