My husband and I went to The Suite and we're very impressed by how much space we had all to ourselves - we had the whole second floor of the house as the only guests! It was quiet, very clean, and the owners gave us great recommendations for restaurants and outings. The home-made scones for breakfast were the best we ever had. We can't wait to go back!

What impressed us most was how spotless this little "suite" was! Immaculate! The bed was so very comfortable -Our hostess was spectacular - very helpful, respectful and kind. Having our bagels there when we arrived was awesome as we were very tired and hungry! The fridge was well-stocked with the items we had requested! A lovely, little, quiet place we would stay at again if we were in the area.

We just spent two nights at the Suite Escape and found it to be very comfortable, clean, and quiet. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, has a private entrance and is hosted by Rich and Myriam, who are gracious owners. We had a wonderful time visiting wineries and Mohunk Preserves. It's a beautiful area that we had not visited before, so lots to see.

My wife and I stayed here two nights in February 2014. We loved it. The suite is very spacious--far more space than we've ever had at any other B&B--and the price is very reasonable. It's great to have a true suite with a bathroom, large living space, and kitchenette--especially with food you can eat whenever you want (plus eggs in the morning if you request the night before--rather than to just be in a hotel room or a standard B&B bedroom. As there's just one unit for rent in Myriam & Richard's house (above where they live), it's very private and quiet. We loved it, will definitely stay again, and strongly recommend the Suite Escape to anyone visiting the New Paltz area!

My girlfriend and I were thinking of going for a day trip up to the Mohonk resort in New Paltz and when we were talking about it, quickly became a decision to spend the weekend there. We had found Myriam and Rich's B&B and it was available so we ended up booking it over the weekend for two nights. My girlfriend and I both had long weeks and wanted to just spend time relaxing and The Suite Escape lived up to its name! Unrivaled privacy and yet our host were still very much aware of our needs and we were both amazed at the warmth and down to earth folks that hosted us over the weekend. We felt perfectly clam and relaxed in the private suite that offered more than your usual B&B. It was an awesome weekend and we would go again when we can. Thank you Myriam and Rich for the awesome stay!

My wife and I stayed at the Suite Escape for two nights in late September 2013. It was a very relaxing escape from NYC and was really perfect for us. The whole suite was incredibly comfy and Myriam made us feel right at home. We enjoyed a few early nights at the Suite Escape and made use of the Netflix account. It was wonderfully dark in the bedroom due to the blackout blinds but once we woke and opened the blinds the suite was full of natural light. I would highly recommend the Suite Escape to anyone looking to have a quiet and comfy place to rest and relax.

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at the Suite Escape B&B over the Labor Day weekend. I am so glad that we selected this place. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect and charming getaway. The suite was spacious (the photographs on the website don't do justice to the size), well lighted and very tastefully done up and with a separate entrance. The breakfast options were plentiful and very fresh and it was all set up, right there in the privacy of our room. Our host, Miriam was extremely gracious and very very helpful in providing us with lots of information on places to visit and dining options. She and her husband had thought of every little thing to make our stay so very comfortable and memorable. We are already planning to return again, next year. Thank you Miriam for sharing your warm and beautiful place -- we absolutely loved it.

We recently stayed two nights in the Suite Escape. From the super comfortable bed, to the spacious living area with interesting artifacts, lots of books, big TV with Netflix, wireless internet, well stocked dining room, fresh eggs in the morning and superb privacy and quiet, everything was outstanding. It was also very comforting to see that the place was super-cleaned and sanitized between guests. Probably the best place we've stayed, and we've stayed at quite a few. Highly recommended. We ate at the Gunkhaus (outside with a fantastic view - good food and drinks) and A Tavola (little noisey, but really great food). Our host was eager to make sure we had everything we needed before and during our stay including breakast preferences, recommendations for dining, places to visit, hikes at Mohonk etc. Thank you for a wonderful stay for our anniversery.

We recently (Jul 2013) stayed as a family of 4 in this nice suite for 2 nights. It was clean, beautiful, well furnished and hospitable. Lots of books, games, DVDs, etc. There was a separate bedroom that allowed for privacy. The hosts were friendly, had the suite well stocked for breakfast, and gave us very helpful tips on places to go, hikes, etc. They even offered to make a bonfire in the backyard. It is just a short drive to downtown New Paltz, and it was a very comfortable stay. I would happily recommended it.

We stayed just one night at the Suite Escape - we wished we had longer - the place is perfect if you don't want a hotel vibe, but to have your own apartment in this great little town of new paltz. We wanted a quiet weekend out of the city - the place is huge, and amazingly clean, you don't have to hear anyone in the room next to you (because you are the only guests) complimentary wine, lots of information about the area, everything was comfortable - the bed, the huge couch, the soft robes. We actually came up on a bus, rented bikes in town, and biked the few miles to the house which was lovely. It was only a cheap & short cab ride into town at night (wouldn't bike at night on those roads). Myriam answered tons of questions for me and was very accommodating. Breakfast included, your own coffee maker etc. We will definitely be back.

My husband booked us here for our 1st anniversary/baby moon this Memorial Day. Myriam and Rich were gracious and thoughtful hosts, even before we got there. The suite is clean and much bigger than the pictures led me to believe. We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Thank you!

My girlfriend and I stayed at The Suite Escape over a Friday night and then the Mohonk Mountain House resort ($650/night) for Saturday night. At the Mountain House we laughed about how much we preferred The Suite Escape. The Suite is the whole upstairs with the large family room pictured above, and a large bedroom and bathroom/shower not pictured. Myriam and Rich are the real deal. Myriam is both a Hudson Valley travel agent and a licensed rock climbing and mountain guide. Rich is a legendary rock climber in the Shawangunk range. They're warm, colorful, and the best travel advisors for the area.

Just a short drive away from downtown New Paltz, this is a quiet neighborhood retreat. The space is great because of it's size and setup(dining area, bedroom, living room). We really felt like we were renting a whole house. Myriam and Rich were also very accommodating for food and for ideas of what to do in the area. They are also very friendly! We highly recommend this place for couples or a family with older kids.

Myriam and Rich welcomed us into their home and treated us like family. They are very attentive and accommodating hosts. It was easy to get in touch with Myriam about any concerns that we may have prior to our trip. She emailed us a ton of information and suggestions about places to visit, places to eat, and things to do, not only in New Paltz and the Hudson area, but also in the surrounding areas (Rhineback, Poughkeepsie, Orange County, just to name a few.) Their help in setting up an itinerary gave us the opportunity to get the most out of our visit to New Paltz. The Suite Escape is a great bed and breakfast and we will definitely be returning!

We spend a week-end in October 2012 at the Suite Escape, and we could not have been more pleased with our stay. This concept of B&B is great for a family: we have a 5 and 10 year old, and most of the traditional B&B don't accept children. We love the flexibility that it provides: you can have breakfast when you want in your own private space... like at home! The apartment is lovely, very nicely decorated, spacious and pristine. The bed is super comfortable. Nothing is missing. A big plus of the Suite escape is the owners: Myriam and Rich. They provided a lot of excellent recommendations for visits and restaurants. The Suite is conveniently located: in 2 days, we did hiking in Minnewaska and Mohonk, we went pumpkin picking in a farm, went to Walkway over the Hudson and visited FDR's house. Also, it was our 10 year old birthday, and we found a lovely gift when we arrived. Myriam also made a bonfire in the garden with marshmallows: it was a real treat for the girls! This place is wonderful, highly recommended.

My wife and I had a delightful stay The Suite Escape from October 8 through October 13, 2012. Our room was a private apartment with a large living room and separate bedroom with a very comfortable king size adjustable bed. We loved all of the extra room for the price of a regular hotel room. The room comes with a dining room table, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, and small refrigerator. Our host offered to make us a hot breakfast each day, but we were happy with the fruit and goodies she supplied in our room. But the best part of the trip was Myriam and Rich, our hosts. Myriam also has a travel business which includes planning itineraries. Her advice and planning for our daily excursions (at no extra cost) was invaluable, and her knowledge of the Hudson River area and Catskills was impressive. I particularly recommend using herand Rich if you are interested in the outdoors or are a rock climber. If you are not familiar with the Hudson valley, New Paltz is a great location, situated about half way between New York City and Albany New York. As a college town it has more interesting restaurants and activities. Steve Goeden
