Special people and a welcoming atmosphere!

    September 27, 2012

We had the pleasure of visiting the Four Corners Country Inn earlier this month. Being unfamiliar with the area, we selected the inn for its proximity to specific places we intended to visit. It turned out to be a great central location from which to explore the entire area. The inn itself has a great energy and charm, and the owners Sibyle and Frank (and their son Cooper) turned out to be attentive, kind and generous hosts who made us feel very much at home. Two of my favorite things about the visit were coming in after a day of exploring, and sitting at the Art Deco bar and having a cocktail, while chatting with other guests and locals. The owner Frank was tending bar and it was a cozy friendly atmosphere. My second favorite thing was waking up to the smell of fresh baked croissants that made its way up to our room on the second floor. The breakfast was a special treat...Greek yogurt with granola drizzled with honey, fresh baked rolls and breads, accompanied by homemade jams, a hearty bowl of fresh fruit, juice and awesome coffee, all beautifully presented. Yummy! The inn's restaurant dining room was charming with it's fireplace, candle light, crisp white linens and historic appearance. We had dinner in the restaurant both nights and it was delicious. But again, what impressed us most were the owners Sibyle and Frank who seem to be working 24 hours a day to bring this grand inn (that had been through a period of neglect) back to its original beauty, all the while making you feel they were there for your every need. Needless to say we will be returning for another visit! Enjoy!

My boyfriend and I were very fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at the Four Corners this weekend. It was a last minute choice which turned out great for us. Sibyle and Frank are wonderful people and did everything to make our stay a pleasant one. The room we were given was large and clean and comfortable. The Inn itself is so charming and quiet, it is certain that we will stay there again in the future. I recommend it highly!

Best stay I've had in many years visiting the area!

    August 26, 2012

We have to thank Sibyle and Frank of Four Corners Country Inn in making our stay the most memorable and most enjoyable we've had in many years of visiting upstate New York. The food was better than most 5 star restaurants that we've visited in Manhattan. Everything was beautiful, friendly staff, all of our needs and expectations were taken care of and then some!
