The Bushnell mansion was originally built as a wedding gift for Catharine Bushnell from her parents. Over the years, celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe and Eleanor Roosevelt have stayed here. Locally, the house is known as "The Marilyn Monroe House."
The Bushnell Suite provides a king-sized bed, private bath and cable TV, with an adjoining sitting room.
The Bushnell Suite sitting room provides additional seating, a second cable TV, daybed with trundle, and a mini-fridge and microwave.
The Martin suite provides a king-sized bed for a comfortable night's rest.
The Martin suite sitting room, which adjoins the bedroom, provides a daybed with trundle, cable TV, mini-fridge and microwave for your comfort and convenience.
Enjoy our signature house breakfast, creme brulee French toast, in the cheerful and elegant dining room.
The Bushnell Guest House living room provides ample seating to relax, in front of an eco-friendly ethanol fireplace.

Two spacious suites - each includes king bed, sitting room with daybed/trundle, en-suite bath, cable tv, mini fridge and microwave. Yummy breakfast features fresh produce from local farms. Kids with well-behaved parents are welcome! We're just 5 minutes from downtown Hudson with its many wonderful restaurants, art galleries, antiques, salons and boutiques. Only 15 minutes from ski resorts Catamount, Windham and Hunter, and 40 minutes from Butternut and Great Barrington. Take Amtrak from New York's Penn Station and enjoy a 2-hour scenic ride along the Hudson River. Enterprise car rental will meet you at the station, or call ahead for taxi service. We look forward to hosting your stay!

From the lovely, antiquated (in a good way) room to the view from the back porch to the amazingly indulgent breakfasts, this was a wonderful B&B experience. I would recommend it to friends visiting the Hudson area. In addition, there is a state park a short drive away and a lot of activities and galleries in the town center.

We have been to the bushnell house on two occations within tha last 4 months and each time the owners made us feel like family-they are family friendly and always strive to make us feel at home_the suites are fantastic-and nothing is lacking in terms of comfort-would recommend for a romantic weekend or a quick family getaway.

The home itself has been restored to an elegance not seen much anymore, but the best part was the wonderful reception and extremely comfortable bed. We were greeted with wine and cheese in the afternoon, and that was unexpected but quite nice. The accommodations were wonderful and the breakfast was superb. Thanks for all this, Beth.
