Walk to downtown Glens Falls with its world class restaurants, boutiques, expansive library, The Glens Falls Civic Center and many seasonal festivals and fun filled activities. Glens Falls has a quaint small-town feel with big city amenities and events. Lake George, the Queen of American lakes, is only a few minutes away and is definitely a must-see destination. Saratoga, the August place to be, is close as well and offers an historic horse racing venue with shopping and trendy restaurants galore. Break away and ski West Mountain (3 miles) or Gore (35 miles) within minutes and world class skiing at Killington in Rutland, Vermont (50 miles)is less than a hour away! Lit cross-county ski trails are within walking distance from the inn, along with hiking trails and a stocked fishing pond in beautiful Crandall Park. The inn was built in 1879 for the daughter of an International Paper Company executive. Renowned by many for its unique curb appeal and distinctive portico it served as a residence until becoming a boarding house in 1980's. In 1994 a local couple restored the home giving each room its own bath and turning this classic charmer into a bed and breakfast.     Ken and Mark are fine innkeepers, and Denise is an invaluable member of the team. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay including the excellent breakfast. We'll be back when next stopping over in Glens Falls.

    Short Stay at Glenns Falls Inn

    We stayed only 1 night, and left at 5:30 am for a hot air balloon ride. We didn't see or interact with anyone from the Inn except at check-in, or anyone when we left early the next morning. We didn't have breakfast either, so don't have a specific opinion about that meal. However, the Inn was lovely, the atmosphere relaxed, the room very nice and we'd certainly consider going back again.

    Charming B&B

    What a fabulous B&B. All of the rooms (I had a tour) where decorated so beautifully. It would be hard to choose. The hosts were so gracious and the breakfast was wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. Just lovely

    Mark and Ken are lifelong residents of the Glens Falls area. Ken is an insurance executive and loves to travel with his two children. Mark is a licensed real estate broker, certified sommelier (he would be glad to answer questions about wine) and father of two as well. Dot is a retired retail shop owner, mother of seven and has enjoyed a daycare career for many years. They all enjoy meeting new people and the many activities and events that the greater Glens Falls area has to offer.
