We have 6 rooms and a cottage. Our rooms include private bath, fireplace, and terry robes. We have a year round hot tub, and seasonal pool. A full breakfast is served each morning.

Stayed there the 24th -the 27th of October 2012......I'll start by saying that we arrived early, extremely early in fact. On a whim, we decided to see if we could check in early. It was only 10:30 in the morning and Rick and Glenda were there, saw us pull up and immediately gave us the key to our room. We appreciated their understanding and genuine willingness to accommodate us. The room was what you would expect to find in a B&B, what wasn't expected was all the empty rooms being open for viewing at anytime; very smart move as you get an idea as to what each room looks like in case you should decide to come back, and why wouldn't you!!! Rick and Glenda are exceptional hosts, very warm, very giving and caring people. You sense immediately their love for owning and operating the B&B and want their customers to have the best time possible. We were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail that was made each morning in the preparation and presentation of breakfast each morning. It was during breakfast that we had opportunity to chat with them, they are a beautiful caring couple, care very deeply for the community they live in, and share the most amazing stories about their lives. When you stay there be sure to ask Rick about his Grandmother who is 104 years old The sitting room upstairs was perfect for me as it afforded me a place early in the morning to read in a quiet place without disturbing my girlfriend as she slept in the room. Town is a short distance away and an easy walk for those who want to get a little exercise. It is situated far enough from town so that the surrounding area is quiet at night, but close enough to walk into town. We will be staying at the Ilex again as we see no need to look any further as we believe we've found the the Jewel of a place in Ellicottville.

My husband and I wanted to have a mini romantic getaway in the country and I found this Inn online, It was wonderful, The spot was so beautiful and was located in a great area. We went to the silver fox for a nice dinner and took a nice drive in the country. The room was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. I would have liked to have a better tv situation but we didnt watch much tv anyway. The breakfast the next morning was simply delicious and the service was very very good. We will absolutely be returning to this inn and we can't wait.

The owners Rick and Glenda Jackson are the nicest people you ever want to meet. My boyfriend and I had the most relaxing, fun and entertaining time. Glenda advised my boyfriend of some fun attractions, wineries and places to visit and we enjoyed all the warm welcomes from the townies. The folks from Canada who are regulars with the Jacksons made our first time at a true bed and breakfast memorable. We will definitely make this an annual event and I'm still trying to figure out all the ingredients that Rick put together for an amazing dish he made for breakfast!

We stayed at the Ilex Inn for a long weekend in May. We found the pool and hot tub extremely clean and the temperature in the pool was perfect for a hot May weekend. It would have been easy to laze by the pool all day instead of exploring the local area, then the hot tub and fire in the evening. It was nice to have an area that you could bring your own food and eat by the pool. Was an easy walk into town and near to other hiking/biking trails. Great breakfasts each morning. Definitly would recomend for a relaxing weekend. Sheila & Kevin
