The house is wonderful and full of features (internet, music, pools, towels heaters, game console, gym, fireplaces, parking lot, free beverages and snacks...), I really appreciated the fact that house is equipped with anything you could imagine and everything is top of the line. pretty impressive. Michael is very nice and charming person who will make you very comfortable. Pretty close to the beach (walking distance).

We stayed for two nights to celebrate our anniversary and it was such a treat. The house offers so much. Luxury, tranquility and great amenities. Michael and Rosalind are wonderful - and their art is just amazing to admire. Location is perfect and we just had a lovely time away from it all. Would love to come back in the Summer! My wife and I stayed mid week and had the place to ourselves. Mike and Rosalind are truly gracious hosts, and Mike is a great cook. The setting is gorgeous, the rooms are clean and comfortable. And the beds are extremely comfortable to sleep on. Mike and Rosalind have collected art from all over the world, and I don't think in the 4 days we were there we saw it all. You will want to spend time looking around this art-filled house. Restaurants are close by and I highly recommend Michael's which is very close to the Art House, and Mike knows the owners so can get you in on short notice. I highly recommend a stay here, no matter what the season.

I was totally surprised by my boyfriend about staying in this amazing place! I started crying for joy when I was toured around the house. The Art House has such a good vibe and energy that it makes you smile all the time. The owners Rosalind and Michael are such beautiful people. Meeting them, and seeing their art was such a pleasure. It felt like visiting your favourite relatives. Everyone was super nice there, surrounds are charming, and yes, the breakfast is gorgeous. We had the best time, the best b&b experience, and hope going back to the Art House one day.

We stayed at the Art House B&B after a stay in NYC. After the busy and vibrant city, we found a house with a tranquile and serene atmosphere. The house and the hosts offer everything a person can wish for. They allow you to experience a mixture of cultural infuences, art, relaxing moments and high-tech at the same time and it all works together. We stayed in the master spa room and our children in the master guest room. Both rooms were luxurious with very comfortable beds. If we wanted to enjoy the pool or go out to the beach, everything was provided : towels, chairs, umbrella's, water,... It was like being at home and having everything within reach. Also the breakfast was outstanding : good quality products with a very good choice. The host Michael and Rosalind are very welcoming people and Michael gave us very good directions to explore the surroundings. We had a great stay at the Art House B&B and can highly recommend it !

Amazing stay in East Hampton!! It was our first time in the Hampton's but it definitely will not be our last. Michael and Rosalind are wonderful, helpful and gracious hosts. Take their advice for dinner/lunch recommendations!! Breakfast was outstanding and the rooms were so perfect we couldn't wait to get back and relax in bed. Will be back soon, thank you for all the memories:)

Perfect if you need a quiet base of operations for activities in the Hamptons. Expensive, but good value considering the attentiveness of the owners and the peace and quiet of an out-of-the-way location not in the middle of town.

I spent 3 nights at the Art House B&B together with my parents and brother and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. Michael and Rosalind are phenomenal hosts and make you feel right at home. We also had scrumptious breakfasts every morning courtesy of Chef Mike. The area around Art House is also really serene and peaceful and away from the bustle of main street, so it's great for walks after dinner and morning runs. We will definitely be back to visit!

My teenage son and I stayed 2 nights at the Art House in December 2012. Our hosts,Michael and Rosalind were absolutely charming and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable - from providing restaurant and sight seeing recommendations, driving us to a restaurant on our first night there, and organising cabs for us. We stayed in the Master Guestroom which was fab...especially the steam bath in the bathroom! We wish we could've stayed longer. Thank you Rosalind and Michael, and your wonderful team, for making our 3 days with you absloutely lovely! Shyamala (Singapore)

The house and rooms are absolutely stunning. It is tasteful and elegant without being pretentious. Michael and Rosalind are warm, intelligent, and friendly hosts. We stayed on our mini honeymoon and were the only guests at the time. At first we felt a bit awkward, but after having a delicious breakfast cooked by Michael and talking with both of them a bit, we felt competely at ease. Both hosts are artists and have their work displayed throughout the home. We loved it so much we bought one of Rosalnd's paintings as a souvenier of our honeymoon and this place. We are a blue collar couple (even at their much reduced off-season prices, the two nights we spent here were nearly a month's salary), but that is the ONLY reason we probably won't be back. Were money not an object we'd become regulars. I would recommend them to anyone!

The Art House was put together piece-by-piece as a labor of love. The attention to detail is extraordinary. It is simply beautiful (and lots of fun too!). Both Rosalind and Michael are active and passionate artists who are a pleasure getting to know. In the morning, a very tasty breakfast awaited us. It closed out our two-day celebration of our 25th anniversary and will give us lasting memories. I would say The Art House is the best and most interesting bed and breakfast on Long Island. I just wish we had more than one night/morning to stay.

What a beautiful home and what lovely people. Me and my husband wanted to spend a night out east for dark skies, so we decided to treat ourselves to a nice b&b. The room was luxurious, the breakfast was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed meeting the owners and visiting their art space as well. We look forward to the next time we can treat ourselves here again.

A beautiful B&B in East Hampton that provides a truly luxurious experience. Peaceful location 5 minute walk to beach area. Gracious and generous hosts. Large, clean and luxurious bedroom, state of the art bath, and a feast for breakfast. Pricey but would definitely recommend.

I am sure someone at the house, will translate my review. I wrote it in Spanish to express myself better and to inform latinamerican people. Andrea y Daniel

This was my wife's and my first stay at the Art House. Truly unlike any place I've stayed in a long while. Michael and Rosalind, the hosts, assured that we (and all guests) were treated to a getaway that was meant to be unique, comfortable, relaxing and well served. Our room was uniquely and artistically decorated with all the ammenities of a five star hotel in Paris. From in room steam, sauna, whorlpool bath to a sumptuous breakfast/brunch cooked to order by an on site chef, the Art House offered an excellent alternative to staying "in the village". But the best part of it all is the attention to detail that creates an atmosphere of comfort, service, value and quality you will not find anywhere in the area. A true jewel of a find run by people dedicated to making your stay a special time. We will be back.

We decided to have a spontaneous weekend in East Hampton last week. Our trip turned out to be the biggest surprise after arriving at the Art House. We were waited from the owners Rosalind and Michael who I think are the best B&B owners I ever met in my travels. Our room was a true luxury with a big sauna, steam room and jacuzzi and this was all in one bathroom. Our room had three waiting rooms and all equipped with tasty furniture and art. It made us feel that we had traveled the world to Marrakech or somewhere in a luxury boutique hotel in Asia. The owners were extremely helpful and fun to be around. They helped us with everything that we needed on the first night. Breakfast the next day is a big surprise of fresh fruits, eggs, gourmet cheeses and bread. We highly suggest the Art House as a real luxury, taste and style. We are looking to stay here again soon and will refer all our friends.

The only thing better than the amazing house, environment and breakfast were our fabulous hosts. It has a perfect balance between perfectly professional and at home. A MUST for anyone coming to the Hamptons.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed are stay at the Art House. The house and surrounding grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed being just outside of East Hampton. The rooms are decorated with art pieces from the owners. Rosalind and Michael were the perfect hosts, attending to all our needs and making us feel at home in their home. Whether you are looking for a base to explore Long Island or just seeking a quite, peaceful place to relax and regernerate, the Art House is the perfect Bed and Breakfast. We wish that we had more time, but are looking forward to when we can return again. Much thanks to Rosalind and Michael for letting us experience your beautiful home and your works of art. Best regards, Debra & Fred

My wife and I spent the last weekend in October 2011 at the East Hampton Art House and we couldn't have been more impressed. We're fortunate to have stayed at some of the top hotels in the world, such as the Ritz, Four Seasons, Trump International, Mandarin Oriental, etc., and the East Hampton Art House provided us with the most exceptional experience we've ever encountered at a hotel/resort/B&B. Now I realize that staying at a B&B is different than staying at a large hotel, but Michael and Rosalind have done an amazing job of providing very high-end features and amenities, while keeping the quaint, friendly and personable feel of a B&B. They told us that they tried to think of everything and my wife and I couldn't think of anything they hadn't thought of. Not only were the house and room outstanding, but so was the breakfast that they provided, which included: eggs any way you'd like; home-made waffles; oatmeal; yogurt; fruit; a variety of cheeses; pastry; lox; fresh squeezed orange juice and more. In addition, coffee, tea, wine, a full bar, soft drinks, bottled water, snacks (fruit, nuts, cookies, pastries, chocolates, and other munchies) are available 24 hours a day. Our stay was off-season for the Hamptons, and the rates for that time of year provide an unbelievable value for what you get. I can't wait for my next visit and, in case you couldn't tell, I highly recommend the East Hampton Art House.

Never was in a B&B. Hosts were unbelievable -- warm, friendly, made you feel like you were at home. Facility was awesome. Cleanliness about A+ & food excellent. Loved it.

The B&B is tucked away in a quiet residential street a block away from the beach and several miles away from the bustle of East Hampton and so is ideal if you're looking to get some peace and quiet. The house is beautiful, the rooms clean and very well appointed and Rosalind and Mike are absolutely excellent hosts - nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are cooked to order and are delicious and there is a fully-stocked honour bar for other times. The fact that the house is also a working studio for both the artist owners is just an added bonus. Just like going to visit friends in the country and very highly recommended.

Everything about our stay was above and beyond our expectations. The house was breathtaking, incredibly clean, and the staff was so polite and accommodating. Mike and Rosalind were wonderful and truly made you feel welcome in their home. We stayed in the Master Guest Bedroom and all we can say is "WOW!" It's amazing to see the amount of effort and thought that went into every detail of the home. Breakfast was a delicious and impressive spread of just about anything you could want. It was also very interesting to see their individual studios and beautiful art. We travel quite a bit, and stay at luxury hotels and B&Bs often, so we do have a basis for comparison. I would highly recommend the Art House to anyone.

Our visit to Art House Inn exceeded our wildest expectation. What we experienced is beyond compare with respect to comfort of accommodations (huge room with fireplace and deluxe bathroom) and first class quality in all details. Shower was equipped with steam capacity. Sonos sound system. Breakfast was made to order according to our every whim. Our host and hostess were exceedingly accommodating and gracious. This place is a must for the most discerning traveler.

Michael and Rosalind are wonderful hosts. We felt very much at home in this extraordinary retreat. Michael truly does serve the most delicious breakfast in East Hampton. The atmosphere in the beautifully constructed large and expansive home is filled with warmth and the original art ensures that there's always something delightful to look at. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay and look forward to returning during the summer season.

This place was the best B&B we have ever stayed at. My husband and I wanted a weekend in the Hamptons without the mortgage of a summer home... The Art House fit us perfectly. It is clean, super modern, offers lots of outdoor activities nearby during a nice day and enough indoor activities to fill a rainy day. The best part of the house are the innkeepers Michael and Rosalind who not only made a great breakfast but made us feel at home throughout our visit!

I felt as if I were visiting a friend living in a magnificent 12,000 square foot home in East Hampton. Michael and Rosalind are two very talented artists in East Hampton with their studios on site. This house, which is like a piece of scupture is representative of their talents. The combination of stone, glass, and wood in a natural setting is extraordinary. I couldn't stop walking around finding new suprises. Instead of lawn in an area, the ground was covered with Thyme. We were greeted as friends, the rooms were magnificent with European hardware and details. Art is exhibited through the home and Michael made us a great breakfast outside overlooking the pool and lavender garden. Phyllis

My husband and I just got back from the most perfect experience you can have in just 2 days. I was lucky enought to find The Art House online while looking for a place to stay for my husband's 35th birthday. The experience was one we will never forget. Roz and Michael's home is magnificent. There is every amenity from the inroom sound system, jacuzzi, pool, and gorgeous grounds to the proximity to Montauk, Amaghansett, and of course, East Hampton. My husband and I found Mike and Roz to be one of the best parts of the stay. They are so welcoming and accommodating. Before you can even think of what it is you need, they are there offering it to you. Mike is an amazing cook and Roz, an outstanding hostess. They are both artists and if you have the time, you must see their work in the two studios in their home. If you are lucky enough to call when they have an opening, be prepared for a memorable experience.

Our stay last weekend was wonderful! The Art House is more like a private villa than an inn. Rosalind and Michael could not have been nicer or more accommodating! They make you feel as though their home is your home. The common areas are large, spacious and inviting. The bedrooms are sumptuous. Beautiful custom high end details are seen consistently throughout the home. The best waffles we've ever had!! We are looking forward to a return!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Art House B&B last weekend. It was my first time in the Hamptons and Michael and Rosalind made our stay an unforgettable experience. Art House is beautiful, spacious, modern, and very clean. We had breakfast the first morning out on the patio overlooking the sapphire-colored water of the pool and the meticulously-maintained landscaping. The breakfast, in the words of my boyfriend, was “phenomenal” and “the best breakfast ever.” There was another couple sharing the breakfast table with us and between us four, we had a spread of fresh homemade waffles, pancakes, omelets, toast, fresh-squeezed orange juice, lox, tons of strawberries, blueberries, water melon, banana bread, and more. Michael made sure we had everything and more, and the attention to detail in the breakfast epitomized his and Rosalind’s overall investment in making our stay over-the-top luxurious but also low-key and relaxed. Michael and Rosalind provided guidance and recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing opportunities. They also directed us to the beach, which was a 5-minute walk from the B&B. Everything about Art House exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to returning soon!

My mother and I were looking for a few days to spend in East Hampton/Montauk to have a girls' getaway. We were a little nervous, though, since we only had a certain time frame to do it and it was quickly approaching. We found the Art House and decided to call, Michael and Rosalind were so warm and accommodating! This bed and breakfast is the perfect sanctuary; nestled in nature, it was so peaceful, relaxing, and meditative. It was in a great location to get to the village of East Hampton, restaurants, beaches, etc. The rooms were spacious, inviting, clean and comfortable. There was a game room, pool, hot tub, gym...the amenities are countless. Michael and Rosalind were always available to answer any questions we had, and they were more than gracious - they were always checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. It was great to have studio visits with both Michael and Rosalind, and see their amazing work and learn about their artistic processes. My other favorite experience was the fresh breakfast every morning...the BEST breakfast I have had, hands down. I could eat those pancakes every day!

The Art House was the perfect combination of relaxation (beautiful pool and hot tub, private beach 5 minute walk away, gardens, quiet street) and excitement (village was 10 minute drive, main beach, celebrity sightings, clubs and luxury dining 2-15 minute drive). Great place to stay for all ages!

Like having your own private villa. Great rooms, super breakfast and personally served by charming hosts, also artists, with studios on premises. Serene, private, zen-like tranquility. Ideal for exhausted urbanites seeking pampering.

Time Stayed: 7/25-7/28/2010 Quiet and seclusion is definitely a welcomed attribute of the Art House B&B. A masterfully prepared breakfast served on the veranda, with the calm sound of a nearby fountain and the breeze in the background was a serene way to begin each morning. Michael and Rosalyn's house was spectacular. The artistry in design and decor as well as the abundant amenities only left a wish for a longer stay. They were the perfect host and their contstant hospitality made us feel as old friends that had come to visit. Many thanks to Michael and Rosalyn. From C&B.
