We stayed at 1922 Starkey House the second weekend of October in the Veranda Room. The deck with views of the lake was a great spot for a morning coffee. The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. The breakfasts were delicious, and the owner/hostess Cathy was extremely kind and helpful. If you are looking for a relaxing way to spend a weekend exploring the Finger Lakes, we would definitely recommend 1922 Starkey House. Jim and Courtney

Wonderful accommodations, very cozy and extremely clean. Cathy was a great host and even let us check in a little early when we needed to. Breakfast was incredible - home cooked with the best ingredients. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. If you're in the area to check out the wineries, this is the perfect place to stay.

This beautiful arts and crafts house felt like home. We had everything we needed, great tips and advice for our visit to the region and breakfast was delish!

Clean rooms, great service, friendly attitude and atmosphere. The only drawback of the inn was that the omlette was a little greasy. But that was more because of the real cheddar cheese used to make it instead of fake processed cheese. Everything was delicious if a little non-inventive.

Our trip was the best one I've had in a long time, and staying at Starkey House B&B was a real treasure and part of that special time! We had a great visit, were really happy to share our reunion time together with two rooms and balcony and loved seeing the train go by from the balcony. Cathy Moskal was very helpful and hospitable in providing suggestions for getting around the area, not to mention the amazing breakfast choices! It's a beautiful peaceful gracious house--a pleasure to visit there.

The view of Seneca Lake from the outside porches was a real treat! The Innkeeper (Cathy) is warm and very friendly and very tuned in to our dietary needs. I most highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast! I look forward to returning in the future!

My wife and I enjoyed a three night stay at the Starkey House. This was our first B&B experience and were pleasantly surprised. Cathy offers clean, home-like rooms that put you at ease after a long day on the wine trail or hiking the Watkins Glen gorge. Our favorite part was the delicious breakfast provided each morning as well as the quiet evenings spent sitting on the porch and talking to other guests. We will definitely be visiting again soon and would recommend this B&B to all.

Crisp, thin, and deliciously golden, rolled with cream cheese filling, or berries. These scrumptious delicate pancakes are hand made and can be topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, or other available fruits from my garden or local farm markets. Crepes can served alone or along with an egg dish of the day. They are especially delicious accompanied by herbal teas or freshly ground and brewed coffee.
