The Manor at Brookbound was built in 1878, in the Second Empire architectural style. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, The Manor has been meticulously restored by its present owner to its original Victorian splendor. The latest in 21st-century amenities have of course been added. The Manor at Brookbound Guest House is a setting of warmth and traditional elegance – a true home. The Manor at Brookbound is a showplace. Guest rooms, parlors, sitting rooms, and other areas are decorated with museum-quality antiques, carpets, and fabrics, providing guests an atmosphere of authenticity and genuine grandeur.

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and it was simply a dream. The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. Access to Hudson was just a 7 minute drive. Marty and Rita, the hosts, were experts on where to go and were very accessible. The views from the house, 45 acres with the Catskills behind, was breathtaking. Of course the highlight was relaxing and enjoying the pool. We felt right at home and can't wait to return.

My friend and I stayed with Marty in August. The house was lovely, extremely clean And well kept, and the views of the Catskills made for a perfect setting. We were given a very elegant breakfast and then spent the morning poolside. Marty was very accommodating throughout our stay and let us lounge long after checkout time. The pool Was fantastic, maybe the highlight of my trip. It's not every day you can swim in such a beautiful setting, on a perfect NY summer day! We would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Brookbound was a wonderful experience. The pristinely manicured property, rolling fields, and beautiful mountain skyline envelops and transports guests to a quieter, gentler time. Nearby Hudson shopping and restaurants offer plenty of fun diversions.
