The best night stay ever. My husband surprised me for my birthday, my special one. He knows I love log homes, and this one was perfect . Everything about the B&B was top notch. Pattie & Margaret treated us like family.I am ready to go back very soon!

My husband and I stopped for one night and got to stay in the balcony room. It was private, snug and included a wonderful bath tub. We had a great rest and enjoyed the fireplace and skylights. Our three course breakfast was superb, far better than any we have had at a B&B. We are definitely going to go return.

Celebrated an early Christmas at this wonderful winter wonderland! Grounds were snow covered and romantic. Chalet is a huge log cabin thats rustic, charming and enchanting with lots of character. Proprietors are friendly, knowledgable about the surrounding areas and very accommodating. Great recommendations for daily activities and dinner reservations. Breakfasts are gourmet three courses of food elevated to an art form! Absolutely delicious! We are a very travel experienced couple who enjoy the comforts of home mixed with a high degree of quality and level of service. We found both staying here at the Chalet and with the hostesses.

Me and my partner had an amazing stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. It was definitely worth saving up for and we look forward to staying again. The hostesses were amazingly welcoming, but also gave us plenty of space to enjoy personal time together. Our room was private and cozy. We stayed during the cold weather and the snow was breathtaking outside of the cabin. We will certainly be coming back during warmer weather! The food was perfect - delicious and creative! Thank you so much for the perfect bed and breakfast stay Pattie and Margaret!

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at this charming B&B. It was a last minute booking as a surprise 36th Anniversary gift for my husband. Margaret was superb--she made us feel welcome immediately and gave us numerous suggestions as to choices for dining in the local area. From a delicious Red Velvet dessert available to us the evening of our arrival to a wonderful breakfast the next morning, she treated us royally. The Woodsview Suite was great. We would absolutely recommend Chalet of Canandaigua to our friends and we hope to return soon.

We stayed one night after our wedding for a mini-honeymoon and it was the perfect place! Pattie and Margaret were so helpful with helping us reserve places for dinner, and our breakfast was so delicious and unique. We loved our room, especially the bathroom with the fireplace! Thanks so much for a wonderful night!

This chalet sits on 30 acres. Yet it is conveniently located. Sitting out on their deck sipping wine, well, after a hectic day it was so relaxing! And beautiful. They have heaters on the deck for those cool evenings, though we did not need them. The rooms were very nice, bathrooms as well. Everything was very clean. Breakfasts were amazing. The ladies were very helpful with recommendations and even called for reservations for us. They make you feel at home! We would definitely go back.

This was our first excursion to the Finger Lakes and the Chalet was chosen for a night's stay based on the evaluations on TripAdvisor. It truly lived up to it expectations. Finding it can be a small challenge if you're relying on a GPS. But once you're there, Margaret and Pattie go out of their way to make you feel at home. It doesn't take long to feel like you're part of the family. The location was great. Room was very nice with amenities. Breakfast in the morning was a three course meal that was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Chalet to other travelers and will most likely stay there again myself. It was a very, very nice experience.

In addition, it has a kitchenette area and a private bath featuring a Victorian soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower with body spray.
Our cozy romantic Balcony Suite is perched on the second floor, with balconies on two sides that afford a view of the dining area below. Done in shades of green, gold, and wood tones, it features a king-sized bed with a sunset colored quilt, a cozy sitting area, and a two-sided, see-through fireplace between the bedroom and private bath.
