From here you can explore the Finger Lakes without having to change you Inn. You visit history itself at the Cobblestone Cottage Bed & Breakfast as it is an original historic site listed on the “Underground Railroad” trail.Built in 1837 as a gentleman’s farm with 256 acres, the present day Cobblestone rests on 3-1/2 acres of private grounds with a large pond, garden pond, cobblestone porch, decks and pool for summer enjoyment. The Inn has two large public lounge areas and a total of three beautifully appointed air conditioned individually zoned heat cottage style guest suites with king size beds, extra guest areas and all with private baths.
Built in 1837 as a gentleman’s farm with 256 acres, the present day Cobblestone rests on 3-1/2 acres of private grounds with a large pond, garden pond, cobblestone porch, decks and pool for summer enjoyment. The Inn is located just one mile from Historic Canandaigua and has been recently restored to its original cobblestone cottage style. The Inn is bright and cheery, pleasantly simple and fun.
The Attic Suite is privately tucked in the eaves of the Cobblestone and is very good size. It features a king size bed and a day bed for an additional guest. It has an attached bathroom with all modern amenities.
The Honeymoon Cottage Suite located in the back of the Cobblestone is very good size and offers quiet privacy. It has a king size bed, fireplace, large screen TV, and the attached bath features a jetted tub.
The Isaac Parrish Suite is named after the original owner of the property and has a king size bed, fireplace and private bath with jetted tub.
The back deck and pool area is a great spot for enjoying a glass of wine and the afternoon sun.

I stayed at 1837 Cobblestone Cottage and I can honestly say I have never stayed at a better B&B. This place was just wonderful all the way around. I found out that Kathy and Joe just recently became the new owners of the place. Well let me tell you that they went above and beyond. The place is just in excellent shape. A great downhome feel to the place. It is well maintained. Also the breakfast spreads were just out of this world amazing. I will definitely be recommending this great location to all. Thank you for a great relaxing weekend.

My fiance and I stayed at the Cobblestone Cottage while intown for a family wedding. Kathy made our stay extremely enjoyable! She was great company, a great cook and a great innkeeper! Our room was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The house had enjoyable common areas for us to relax in during our time at the B&B. The B&B has a beautiful view of Canandaigua Lake and is located very close to downtown Canandaigua where we enjoyed some shopping and great restaurants. We highly recomment this B&B to anyone looking to visit Canandaigua!

A perfect get away. Dawn was so welcoming - great energy. We brought our bicycles and took a great ride down West Lake Road. We were able to use the garage to store them. Drove into Canandaigua for dinner - just a few minutes away. Cobblestone Cottage is so Clean and Bright. It really is beautifully decorated and comfortable from the front porches to the guest rooms and all the rooms in between. From the first moment - you feel at home.

Welcoming, open, friendly and well-decorated. Dawn and Tom were terrific hosts and we couldn't have asked for more. Dawn met us on the front porch and instantly made us feel at home. The breakfasts were fantastic and is the only way to start a busy day of walking!

The first floor suite was named after the original owner of the Cobblestone back in 1837. The simple country charm reflects a time gone by with the addition of all modern amenities. The suite has a king size bed, fireplace, comfy 400 count bedding, flat screen cable tv, wireless internet access and privately zoned heat. Private bath with jetted tub.

This suite was an addition to the Cobblestone at the turn of the century as a Honeymoon Cottage for local area newlyweds. At the time, the property was a vast park-like grounds which included lake front and many buildings with paths and drives for romantic strolls and rendevous. Today the name remains for this cheery and bright cottage suite where romance abounds even if guests are not newlyweds. There is a king size bed, 400 count cotton bedding, vintage fireplace, cable tv, wireless internet, privately zoned heat. Private bath with jetted tub.

Tucked away up in the eaves of the Cobblestone, this very large and very private suite boasts a king size bed, privately zoned heat, private bath, wainscoted ceilings, private sitting area and gas fireplace. Of course there is flat screen cable TV, DVD, and wireless internet. Everything about this suite says take me to the cottage. The bath is vintage cottage tile with all modern amenities, yet still in keeping with days gone by.

Breakfasts were wonderful and both days were enough to carry us through dinner. Grounds are meticulously kept and the place is quite charming. Rooms are spacious, wi fi easily accessed, nice location with regards to downtown. Dawn and Tom are excellent hosts and extremely helpful with dinner recomendations and what wineries to visit. We really enjoyed our stay and will continue to stay here on subsequent visits. Rich and Lisa

Dawn made us feel very welcome and at home in the beautiful cobblestone house. We relaxed on the front porch before a fabulous breakfast. Dawn was helpful in providing suggestions of restaurants in the area. She even made our dinner reservation at Nolans. We highly recommend a stay at the 1837 Cobblestone Cottage!
